I just threw away $5

I was trying to see (out of curiosity) if Carfax had been updated with my purchase of the Regal yet. Well, when you have their basic service, every VIN you run pops up with an ad saying "pay another $5 to get a reliability and safety report". I already got those for free on MSN, so I've been saying no. Well, in my impatience to just get to the info, I accidentally clicked on the nice big "Okay, charge me another $5" button instead of the small "No, just show me the report" link.

sorry Rajah - but if it makes you feel any better...I just spent $5 on a scratch ticket and got ziltch. :rolleyes: ;)
 

Rajah, don't they have the 30 day money back guarantee?? I know they did when I bought mine 2 years ago, I did all the homework myself.

They did when you sign up.

Now that I'm signed up, I can't even get to my account information, let alone find that guarantee information again. It was all over the place if you haven't signed up. :mad:
