Obsessive Compulsive Planning Disorder!!

I ran out of things to plan, so now, not only do I have plans on where I'm going to eat each night, but I'm searching menues to plan WHAT I'm going to eat. :earseek:

Geeze Louise! I'm GOING CRAZY!!!!!! :hyper:

I don't know how people handle it AFTER their vacation...I'll go nuts when I don't have anything to plan/look forward to!

Welcome, and you've come to the right place. We were at Universal in October and I've been researching and planning non stop for our August trip. The planning is half the fun and builds the suspense.

:Pinkbounc I'm the same way!!! :Pinkbounc

As a matter of fact, I was looking at the menus today deciding which days I'll eat chicken, etc. I LOVE IT.

I have been looking EVERY day since we came home from our trip in Feb....and we are not going back until Feb...IT IS KILLING ME!!

Yep, that's the way I was. I'd get home to NJ and start planning my next vacation here. Finally, we just decided to move here, makes things a whole lot easier!

Me too! My friends all know me for the "travel notebook" I carry on each trip.

I have a three ring binder with plastic sleeves that I put all the info in - reservation confirmations, Loews card, menus for restaraunts, fan club card, etc.

But I have never not had something I needed when I get to wherever I am going!!:hyper: :flower:

Oh my! it sounds serious! I have the same illness! There's no cure except for hanging out on this board until the day gets here. We are a great support group!

i admit i have the same illness

i know this may sound strange:crazy: but sometimes its almost a let down when my trip finally gets here- it means an end to all my constant planning

Group hug!:grouphug:

Hello my name is Mother and I'm a Planoholic.

:drinking1

I realized I had a problem on Memorial Day 1995 when I had planned a MK/Epcot trip to the 'second' by calculating load times, ride time, queue wait time, distance and walking times, ride popularity, all meals(where and what), bathroom breaks and rest time. Pre-trip we trained walking 5 miles a day on the beach and Saturdays ten. We followed the schedule precisely and hit 26 attractions in one day. There is nothing to top the euphoria of a well planned and executed vacation. I love it when I have to go back to work to get some rest! I need a drink...

I guess I'm in the same boat as you all! I'm down to the last bits of planning for our July trip. All of the reservations are made for RPR, flight, trans., etc. Now it turns out that my mom is going to be flying down to join us for a couple of days....YEA! more planning to tide me over til our trip!

For all you planners, how about this? I'm a pretty good planner myself and had our June trip planned, all written out which parks which days, some PS made for a few meals. I even had plan B in case they keep the evening EMH as opposed to the current EMH schedule.
Then my brother tells me we are leaving on June 13, not June 12 due to his work schedule. He says "we'll just leave a day later and come back a day later"
Now my neatly thought out, written out plan is off by a day and my brother does not even know what an EMH is!!!!!! Nor a PS!!!!
So today I am revamping my whole plan. I thought I was done and had it stored away with the tickets. I din't think I had to think about this anymore. I felt so smug.
Does anyone need a brother? I could let you have mine.

Hey, 35 and single. Pretty nice looking. Maybe I can auction him off.
