I have a question about Black Friday prices??

I went to Sears on Saturday (Nov 20th) and bought a leather jacket for my husband on sale for 79.00. I had a coupon for 10 dollars off which made it 69.00. Thought I had a super deal. Then I looked on the Black Friday website and it seems that the same jacket is going to be on sale for 49.00 that day. My question is this....before I go and stand in a line to ask. If I bring in my receipt to show that I bought it, can I get the sale price for that day. I have done this a long time ago at other stores, but am not sure if stores still do that or not. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? Don't want to waste my time in a mob to find out it doesnt make a difference. Thanks.

Call them and see what they say. Sears is not a huge line place, and I've always been in and out on BF there.

Sears has one of the best price policies.

They should give you back the difference on any purchase within 30 days. (normally)

All i've needed in the past was a reciept.

If you call be sure to ask about the coupon. You may lose the value of that coupon in the deal.

Coupon or not they have a policy of price guarantee for 30 days.

If they hassle you just go on "Black Friday" and purchase the identical jacket on sale for $49 then just return the other jacket with your original sales receipt. I am assuming your husband hasn't worn the original jacket.

thanks for the info, the jacket is a christmas gift, so it is still in the bag. I dont think it will be a problem but i am going to call them tonight to make sure.
