Well i thought we had set our wedding date on the 12th September 2011 but I have just read about the Fantasyland expansion planned. As 90% of my guests will not have been to Disney before I really wanted them to have a great first time and I am really worried that the Magic Kingdom will feel like a building site!

Should I postpone until Sept 2012? I realise the work is not going to be completely finished until 2013 but maybe most of it will be done by then

I have posted this question the park boards but wanted to know what fellow brides think?

Very hard question but honestly I do not think I would postpone my wedding one whole year for this. I know you want your guests to get the full enjoyment of WDW but an extra year is a L O N G time to wait. I do not know what all the plans are as of yet but Disney is pretty good at hiding things or making things look nice while they are under construction. It is completely up to you but I do not think I would wait an extra year.

I've been to Disney when there were loads of renovations before and you never see anything. They always put up walls around everything so that the "magic" never gets spoiled. The only actual construction equipment I ever saw were the cranes putting together Mount Everest! I know there are some threads around here to do with ride constructions/renovations that have pictures, maybe search out some of those if you're worried.
