I HATE, HATE, HATE Disney scrapbooks. Anyone else?????

I am using my first non-CM book for our first trip. I bought a blue leather one with a medallion of the castle on the front at the scrapbook store at DTD. I found that the pages were a really thick plastic that did not lay flat. I bought regular (the cheapest) refill pages at Michael's and they work much better. I have about 30 pages in my book and it lays perfectly flat. I gave the original pages to DD to use for crafty items. At least they won't go to total waste!

Did your post holes line up? Do you remember what brand of refill pages you bought? I haven't had any luck finding ones w/ the same holes in the same places.

I think I bought the K & Co. refill pages. I do know that the label was a light green. Everything lined up and the plastic is a little more flimsy. I figured that I would be able to fit more pages this way, but the ability to lay flat is a bonus!

I have the cutest 8 X 8 black albulm w/ a Mickey face on it (also in blk). Its made by EK Success. I went to 4 stores today & none of them sell that companies refill pages & none of the ones they sell would fit my albulm. So, I'm off to the companies website to see if they sell them online. :confused3 I was in a 6 x 6, A-Z Disney Character recipe SWAP. I wanted to put them in a Disney albulm & since I had this one I thought it would be so cute. Its going in my kitchen. Since I couldn't find the refills, I ended up buying a 6 X 6 plain one in red. GRRR. I use to buy albulms I liked & then never scrap. So, I have all these albulms I need to use up. And since I'm scrapping again, I've realized how frustrating they are. Its been too long for me to take them back. GRRR

So, I went to the EK Sucess website. I am happy to report that they HAVE REFILLS. I'm so excited. And of course, I found about a million things I want to buy. So, I've decided not to throw my albulm out the window just yet.

I have several of them and haven't had any problems with them. I have the Halloween one, the Christmas one, 2004 and 2005. They have held up the same as my others.
