I auditioned for The Dresser, at our local community theater on Saturday, and then had to wait until last night at 8:00 to hear if I got cast. I was pretty sure I wouldn't get a part because 1) there are only three women, and I have never acted in a straight play, so have little experience and 2) I thought I was too old for for the young part the too young looking for the older parts. Thank goodness, I was wrong!
I got the part of Irene, the young actress/sleaze. My first rehearsal is tomorrow, then it's six weeks of four night per week rehearsals. We open March 14.
I am so excited! I could hardly wait to get to work to get online to share my great news.

Good luck (aka break a leg
