I got my BOG ADR!!!!

Was able to get mine this morning after 28 minutes on hold, 51 total minutes for the call.

Got Dec 17th at 7pm for 5

Got Dec 26th at 7:05 for 16

Both are just what I wanted and I was thrilled. I haven't read this thread yet but I hope everyone got what they wanted too!

My hopes are to try the different dining rooms! I have been to WDW several times and we are always looking for something new and exciting. I have been to many restaurants twice. This one will just be in the same trip since it will be quite a while before we go back...My son is 6yo and this is his 6x at WDW, 2x DLR and 1x DCL and my husband wants to see the rest of the world!

EXACTLY! I want to eat in two of the rooms!!! Who knows when we will go back and my DD still loves Belle. Gotta see it now!!!:)

This is the fastest growing thread I have ever seen on this site.

You must not have seen this one??? http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2911422&page=157 Last night we were on page 88, not it's up to 157!

Like a lot of other people said...if you used the automated system without a CC# attached.....PLEASE CALL BACK AND ADD ONE.

We had originally done the automated this morning and decided to call back, and were on hold for about 45 minutes. The CM we just spoke to asked for the CC# and said the only way he could keep the res was to charge a penny. So we did NOT have to cancel our res, same confirmation number and everything. He said the res would absolutely be canceled without the cc# though.

"Charge a penny"?? You are joking, right? The CM could not add my cc# to my original ressie, but I waited 30min. more for someone that could (not for a cent extra either;)) I WAS NOT going to lose my original ressie :rotfl2:

OMG! So glad I looked at the thread again. I'm on hold to add my CC to my ressie. I would DIE if it dropped out tonight, I'd never get Christmas day again. :worship:

After seven hours of trying, I finally got through to the automated system, only to find out that all eight days of our vacation are already fully booked. So much for getting up at 6 am and "hanging in there." If you are trying for Dec. 12 - 18, you can stop calling now.

I love Disney with a passion, but I am really angry about this entire experience. I suppose the 'suits' are jumping up and down over the popularity and all the money this is bringing in, but I always found Disney to be a company who valued all guest interactions and wanted to always "exceed expectations". They have stumbled badly this time.

This has already marred our vacation and perspective of Disney's attitude toward their core customers and will certainly color my feelings about Disney overall in the future. I realize there are only a limited number of seats available, but I think this mad rush could have been avoided by not making such a huge announcement and just soft opening the reservations. The number of reservations per call should also have been limited to give more people a chance to be seated. And calls should not have been transferred from other Disney lines, such as the Disney Store, putting those callers ahead of those who were waiting on the correct queue. This was a fiasco. If Disney hoped to achieve good "PR", they may have actually alienated more customers than those they pleased.

Anyone else feel this way?

Only to the extent of the changed opening time. There was always going to an element of luck. But I wish I had started on equal footing. If you were away on the weekend and missed that they moved the starting time up until this morning - you were too late. It's one thing to try and miss - it's another thing to not be given the chance to even play the game . . .

If anyone made their reservations with the automated system and it didn't take your credit card info you need to call back and give that info. It will change your confirmation number. The CM acted like those reservations wouldn't be honored without it.

On phone with agent now. Agent is not taking my credit card... saying they just received notification that the automated reservations will not be canceled. Should I believe them?

Only if you don't care about eating there.

I didn't take a chance. The agent checked and the days and times I wanted were available so we booked a new BOG reservation and canceled the automated system ones. Disney doesn't seem so great with their web and automation.... I'd rather not take a chance.

I just got the same answer. CM Said Disney has rectified the problems and 100% assured me that my reservation will not be cancelled. I think I am going to call back and double check.

Lady CM I am talking to now says that they have been informed that all reservations will be 'held' and no one will be dropped tonight. I insisted I wanted to add a CC anyway, and she said she can't do it. I've asked for her manager - on hold again. Will report back once I talk to manager.

In for 2 on November 20th at 5:50 extended my stay at hotel for four days...glad I am driving.

I figured they would NEED to do SOMETHING! I expected them to somehow fix it so they wouldn't be dropped but I am glad I called earlier to add my cc#!

Oh good, I will wait until you post back before I pick up the phone and try calling again.

Man, the craziness today!!! Some people ecstatic to get the exact ADR they wanted. Other's upset they didn't get one at all. Most everyone exhausted after dialing for hours and listening to the busy tone for who knows HOW many times (I'm in that category). Now the situation with holding your ressie with a credit card. I think we all knew today would be crazy but I honestly didn’t expect it to be all of THIS.

CALGON, TAKE ME AWAY!!!!!!!

I was transferred to Rodney at Disney Dining Help, and he took my CC# no questions asked and gave me new confirmation numbers. I feel better now!

So if you get a CM who doesn't want to take the CC, ask for a manager! :thumbsup2

My total wait time was 26 minutes on hold, and 5 minutes on the phone with Rodney.

Thanks! That contradicts previous post of nothing available prior to 12/19.

Actually ... No...I got that reservation at 8:30AM. Didnt know this thread existed as I was only in the one under reservations...the unofficial list thing.
