(Buckalew, I hope you see this.)

I ordered the Bare Minerals Try Me special from QVC. It came on Tuesday so I wore the make-up yesterday and today.

It definitely takes some practice to apply. It looks better today than yesterday. I love the eyeliner, though. Really looks nice and not too “make-up-ie.”

Anyway, here is my one problem so far. That is, how do I apply the “Warmth”? I thought the Warmth was supposed to be in place of blusher, but it’s not showing up like blush. Also, the jar doesn’t have the top with the holes in it like the foundation. How do I get a small amount of it onto the brush?

Groosch JJ!!!

Kan't help yer with the technical questions...but.....

For the Warmth, what I do is: close the jar and turn it upside down. Turn it over again so it's right side up. Tap the top of the jar lid with your finger or whatever (no, I'm not going to have you say abracadabra although I am tempted to!) Open the jar. The amount of Warmth left in the jar lid is the amount you should swirl into your brush. I've found a little Warmth goes a really long way. I do a quick all over my face pass and then go back and accent my cheekbones.

Hope this helps.

I have a few products and like them. I really need something for the dark circles under my eyes. Does this try me special have something in there?

Yall are killing me talking about all this make-up and warmth and bronzer.....so where do I get it from that isn't that expensive just to see if I like it??

I know yall mentioned Clinique and they have that at the mall here.

JJ, I'd give the same advice as JoyceDC. Warmth is not really a blush. It is more of a bronzer (I think they say something like a kiss of the sun). Actually, I hardly ever use warmth. I have a small pressed blush that they make (SIL got it in NY).

Keep up the foundation. I have read that people think it takes getting used to. I just buff it on & go. I probably should be more careful. LOL

They sell a color called bisque, Missymouse3367. They recommend to use that as a concealer. It is also an eyeshadow color so it too has multiple uses. It is not in the sampler that JJ bought.

I just got my QVC try me Bare Escentials pkg. last night.

I haven't had a chance to practice w/it yet, I ordered the light, and it looks perfect for my skin tone.

The "warmth" looks very much like my Clinique Glow Crazy powder highlighter. It makes you look like you've spent the weekend in the Bahamas!

Beauty, I ordered my try me kit through QVC.com on a whim after I read about it here. Total cost w/shipping and taxes came to $30.50.

The Bisque is great as a concealer. I also use it on my eyes for a quick eyeshadow.

Okay you all have me thinking I ought to try this, but I really can't decide which color to try. Light looks like it is just too light for me, but I am a lighter olive skinned person and the medium looks too pink. Does anyone with light olive/yellowish skin use it and have it look okay?

Try calling the order entry operator and ask what color their descriptions suggest for your type of skin. There may also be a place to send emails to the rep from Bare Escentuals on the QVC website. Remember, you always have your 30 day no questions asked return policy!

Good luck in finding your perfect color.

I had a chance to experiment with it this afternoon, and found that the best way to apply it is to move your brush quickly around your face.

I really like the product so far! It's very natural looking and it's not heavy like liquid foundation.

I've also found that it is better to apply after using moisturizer. It seems to sticks better.

Ok I am going over to the QVC to find out how much I'll be spending.
