Ah such lovely arch photos, the fog looks super cool too! That’s the one thing I think I would prefer to drive vs the DME, you get FAR better pictures lol! Ah!!! French Quarter!! We just got back from a trip there and absolutely loved it!!

Ahahaha, I feel like that series of pictures of Bob is the same thing I would do, just that little prancing/dancing down Main St to the classic Disney music, it’s just so fantastic! Biergarten is definitely on my list of places to try!! Next trip perhaps! It seems like a blast!

Bob is such a happy go lucky guy most days! Try Biergraten! It's a very fun atmosphere. Is it the best food? nope, but I am not a buffet fan. Bob and the kids however, love it!

I really enjoyed the ease of the PP+ and I got to be in all the pics! BONUS!

I was very excited when I booked this breakfast, despite previous blah experiences.... In case you haven't figured out where we were eating this morning, it was Chef Mickeys! I swear this place is hit or miss. Does anyone else have this experience? First time we ate there it was great, second meh, but this last time was pretty good! I think having Bob there, who had never eaten there before though, helped? or maybe I just am too much of a Disney food snob now?

Now, I don't have full recollection, and honestly my baby brain is making me a mess lately, but from what little notes I have, it says that we had a HARD time waking up today! Gee, I wonder why?? I made note that we were very organized which helped ! Pretty impressed by that, considering I planned a wedding in addition to this trip, and was running in fumes when we unpacked the day before! Go us!

As always we started off our visit to Chef Mickey's with this mandatory photo shoot:


That was the start of the PP+ perks! I HATE when I like a pic, but don't want to pay the price for the pic! Well with PP+ I didn't have to decide, it was included! Plus I could edit at home on my card and add borders! Boo YA!

Our waitress was VERY nice and she brought us Disneymoon pixie dust in the form of a cupcake Bob was SO cute and honored and impressed by this gesture. I think it must be nice sometimes to NOT be part of the Disboards or any other fan base, as it allows for things to be a surprise and truly appreciated, not anticipated or expected. Not that I ever do, but I know its a possibility, I guess.

The characters were all awesome this morning, and very interactive, which I always appreciate! The food was OK, good selection. I Personally love the kids breakfast pizza there! Anyone else?

I didn't get any food porn... I'm SORRY! OK, that's a lie, I got this one and only shot...

and then the original bad boy showed up, and clearly as you can see, jack was thrilled! He LOVES Donald, though he has not stuffed animals or anything else, but for some reason when we are at WDW he gets giddy when Donald is around, and seeks him out most often! I think he relates to his naughty side lol!

This is one of those photos that make you realize the planning, money, time and all were worth it!

We left there with FULL bellies and everyone was in a good mood! All in all I do recommend at least trying this place if you haven't. I think where you are seated, and time you go make a difference at this place. Looking back now, I actually wish I could fit it in next trip, lol!

Once we were done eating it was time to head to MK !!!! I always have to start there, and yes I know we started there yesterday, but remember that wasn't supposed to happen.. OR WAS IT???

Anyway, I was VERY excited to be heading there today! We had planned months in advance to surprise the kids with a trip to Pirate League as soon as we entered the park! Now, I can't recall what it was over, but Bob and I got into a FIGHT! A FIGHT ON OUR DISNEYMOON! I have no notes, and usually I can remember fights, but this one must have been dumb, because for the life of me I can NOT recall what the heck we fought about! But it got intense enough that we almost canceled the whole Pirates League experience If I recall correctly, Bob did not know that I booked it for all of us... maybe I was trying to add an element of surprise for him that day too? Who knows? Either way, I feel badly for my part in that fight, whatever it may have been about. Luckily we turned it around, checked in and then revealed to the kids via cute notes and gift bags from Bobs mom that we were going to get to enjoy this experience today! Bobs mom bough them each a costume and wrote a really cute letter from Pirate Mickey inviting them! They were stoked!

I'm going to start this off with PRAISES from the start! If you have even a teensy weensy bit of urge to go here, DO IT! It was an amazing experience!

I can't recall exactly how it went down start to finish, but we went in, and the kids were shown to their dressing rooms to put on their costumes, which I had hoped they wouldn't feel silly wearing. They willingly and excitedly went, and came out looking adorable!

They then got to pick pirate names!


Then it was our turn.


Bob got really into it, as he does everything Clearly things were starting to cheer up


I'm so annoyed, I forgot to write down the names we were given. They were hilarious though! So far PL was a top notch experience, especially for the price!

Once we got our names it was time to head into the pirate deck to get our makeovers. My guys name was Chris, and he was the funniest CM I have ever encountered at WDW! We had each other peeing our pants! He kept in full pirate form throughout but I appreciated his return of inappropriateness that I was throwing out! Sometimes he couldn't even respond he was LOL so hard at me.. I don't think he meets many moms or dads like Bob and I The best was that he got everyones CM involved too!

I dont have great pics from inside as it is very dark in there, but I got what I could.


I should mention that all of our CM's were great..though Kayla's was my least favorite, and she was also the only woman CM. What a wench... see what i did there ... Wakka wakka!



NOT a great or even remotely good shot of my guy, but this is Chris, request this man! He is the BEST!

So, the cool thing about Pirates League that I'm not sure I knew about before going is that you get a "photo shoot" after you've been transformed. It was a fun experience that they make you feel is a secret passage way, and is kinda creepy lol. You go through a secret door, which I in all honesty didn't even notice before we went in, despite being seated next to it during my transformation! I also want to add that they gave each of use a little baggy full of the nail polishes, lipsticks and other stuff they used on us! When we got to the private picture room we all posed in our most pirate like poses we could muster up.. we look like a bunch of nuts



Bob had us all dying!


and his pics were by far the funniest! Even the photo pass photographer was dying cause of Bob! He truly is a man child!


We make one scary (or not so scary) pirate family!


I forget why, but Kayla has no solo pics.... awkward tween moment?? No clue.. oh well.

*Wait.. just looked at my wall, we DID get one of Kayla printed out, apparently hers never made it on the PP card though. Bummer. At least they printed one for us though!

But again, let me end this post with the highest praises for Pirates League. If you are even thinking of it a little bit, DO IT! I can't recall what I paid, I have the receipt somewhere, but I do know that I paid less for all four us than I did for one primo package at BBB for Kayla in 2008. We all had fun, and it really turned around our day after the fight! The CM's were ALL in massive character and some of the best I have ever met or dealt with at WDW! I can say without a doubt that it was one of my most magical moments from any Disney trip!

We left there feeling awesome and all laughing our tushes off!

To make things even better it was time for us to meet up with Jophia and tour the park! We also had some more special plans later in the night that we were all excited about!

The boys did PL our last trip and LOVED it. I loved how they stayed in character (the CM) the entire time!

We did CM this most recent trip...and NO cloth napkins. I thought it was odd when I they played the song about raising your napkins up and twirling them around.......yet EVERYONE had paper napkins!

Every fight DH and I got into this trip, I thought of you! LOL!

What fun updates!! Looks like a fantastic start to the day, minus the fight!

We did CM's for dinner this trip and I loved the food, but the characters were less than impressing. It got made up for later in the trip of course, and I would definitely go back!!

PL looks like a blast! I seem to remember reading somewhere that adults can no longer do it? If that's true that totally sucks as you guys clearly had so much fun. Love it!! Glad the CM's were in such awesome moods and into it!

Soooo, I'm loving your PL pictures and notice that Jack's pirate was James - he's the same pirate that my DS had (he was hilarious btw)! Then I look at the dates you were there and discover WE WERE THERE TOO! Our dates were the 22nd-30th of January! We were in Epcot on this day! Crazy! I have to give you a huge amount of credit for writing this, I can only remember what we did based on our pictures, I really need to start taking notes.

Anyway, I hope you are feeling well... not much longer now before you become a family of 5!

We ate at CM for the first time this past trip and we loved it! We were also probably the only ones there without kids but that's ok!

I had no idea about the cupcake either it was super cute! When we go back CM will be on my list.

Surprisingly me and Fi didn't fight!!

PL looks like it was a blast. When I have kids I will have to do this with them!

OMG, I love your son's makeup! You guys looked like you had so much fun! I hope they still have that around when we have kids because I've only heard great things about it!

Bummer about the fight... but it doesn't look like it ruined your day which is a good thing.

I've never eaten at Chef Mickey's. We stayed at the Contemporary on our honeymoon but never had interest in eating there. It might be because it was always packed when we stayed there. Though, DH likes buffets so it's strange he didn't want to eat there.

We are not fans of Chef Mickey's anymore. If we had to choose, we would pick breakfast over dinner, but we prefer Crystal Palace or Tusker House.

Baby #2 has been doing okay. Tonight is the 20 weeks ultrasound and I am so excited to see him/her! I started feeling movements about 2 weeks ago, which is great! Back to school has been okay. I have mostly good groups, and am enjoying this new format of teaching I'm trying. It's tiring though...


Love the Pirate League update! Peanut will be dressed as a pirate this Halloween. I think it would be fun to do PL one day. I'm sure even Otaku would get into it.
