I got married & went on a Disneymoon & all I got was a BABY! BABY BEAN IS HERE!! PICS

Hi Jen, welcome back. Take all the time you need, we know you have a lot on your plate right now. We will be here when you are ready.

Port Orleans French Quarter!! I love that resort!! What great pixie dust, great view!

I just had Boma for the first time our last trip and man is it good! I can't wait to go back!!

I don't know how you guys did it, the wedding, then the long drive and then a day at MK...talk about excitement!

I am another one coming out of Lurkdom to comment on your trip report.

Thank you for sharing the details of your wedding. The pictures were great, I think you looked radiantly beautiful on your special day, I loved how you included small touches to personalize the reception and photos. I wish I could do it again so I could copy your ideas!

I used to visit New Hope years ago to visit the shops and walk by the canal with my family who lived there. I haven't thought about that area in years and your outdoor pictures reminded me of the pretty town and shopping area.

We are a lucky group- ladies who have found their true loves after kissing a frog, thinking he was a prince. How fortunate for you that your prince is a fan of Disney and believes in Disney Magic! I am working on convincing my prince of Disney Magic, but he doesn't buy it yet.

I also wanted to add to the words of encouragement for your little guy. My nephew was born with club foot 13 years ago. My sister did not know before he was born, but with casting treatment and 1 surgery at about 9 months old, he is fine now. The only way you notice it is that one leg is slightly skinnier than the other. Doesn't slow him down at all. In fact, when he was a baby, they had to go in weekly to get a new hip to foot cast put on his leg. We called it "The Clunker" (well, we are from NYC originally, so we called it 'da clunka') anyway, he used that cast as a counter-balance to help him sit up early, and to stand at the coffee table. In fact, he had no problems crawling, he just threw the leg around to the side, and moved forward. He was faster than my other nephew who was 6 weeks younger. I am not sure if that is the same method that the others have mentioned, but whatever you choose for your precious little guy, he will be wonderful and know that he has two parents who love him dearly, and 2 older siblings who will teach him all that they know.

I wish you the best and can't wait to read more about your Disney-familymoon. I am so jealous, I wish we did that!

Erin

Love how you got to meet Scrooge! Great update!
thanks! I was stoked!

Hey Jenn !!! Good to see you back !!!

Great view at the hotel :))

Thinking of upgrading from pop to a moderate as heard cheerleaders are invading pop while we are there . We have done POR and love it !!!

What did you think of POFQ? Food court ? Pool ? Overall atmosphere there ?

So awesome you got meet Scrooge and Ludwig !!!
LOVED the pool and the rooms, and the ambiance in general! Can't comment too much on food as I am NOT a CS fan. However, Bob as impressed enough! It's by far my favorite WDW resort!

YEAAAAAAAAAH! You're back! Totally excited that you posted... I think that many if not all can completely understand that "life" happens! I hope all is going awesome with the new house and little bean!!
thank you and oh baby is life happening! I'm not
!!!

Jenn, what a fun update. I don't know how you and Bob made that drive after all the wedding hoopla. You can really see Bob is dragging in that one picture, but then he just lights up with the pixie dust you received...and what a great smile.
You're such a mom to say what a great smile :) I LOVE his smile though! I love you for being my Dis mom!

Sorry you were feeling a little cranky. When one is not used to the warm weather, it can have an effect on you. We had 80's the whole week we were there in December (and I'm hoping for the same this December).
I wanted a high of 60! lolol

Great pictures of the kids. And don't you just LOVE Boma for breakfast? One of our favorites (although I did cancel it for December to try something new).
Thank you and I do love it! It is Kaylas favorite too! Has been since 2008!I would cancel to try something new though!

Glad to see you back on the DIS! I hope that you'll find some time to relax and take care of yourself and that baby!
Thanks, but I wouldn't bank on it lolol

What a great start to the trip! Bob's expression when he saw the view upgrade is priceless. I love that he didn't expect a thing. So sweet.
Ugh, he melts my heart in that way!

I'm with you, I woulda been at the MK no matter how tired I was! Love that you got to see some favorite characters. :goodvibes
we couldn't help it! we agreed next trip we will do a half day on first day! and ONLY after sleeping in.... lololol

Glad your back! We are currently at POR I thought it was going to be cooler but nope it wasn't. Oh man
Stopped going in September due to the heat! Hope you are still having a blast though! I absolutely love the decor and fall ambiance there!

I'm so happy to see a new update. I will never stop reading your reports Your family just captures my heart. I loved all the wedding pics and it looked like a magical couple of days. I so happy for you all.
thank you thank you thank you!

But now on to the Disney pics! yea! and what a great first couple one. I love Scrooge and Ludwig Von Drake. One of my favorite songs is is red, yellow blue... song. It gets so stuck in my head. Athough I can never remember the order of the colors. Whatevery happened to plain on lavender blue dilly dilly, silly. I hope you know that song, or I sound crackers. If not, listen to it.

I think your life sounds about as full now as one can be. We will be here to finish reading whenever you get around to it.

Hang in there!!
It is pretty full.. it will be interesting to see how I fit in birthing a baby, castings, working full time, full time sports schedules, halloween, thanksgiving, BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING (that is happening!), Kaylas 13th birthday ( prepare for a very very very sad me), Bobs dads bday, my dads bday, christmas, nye and prepping for disney! ahahahahhahahahhahahahha . I should NOT have written that out!

Just stumbled across your trip report tonight!!! The title sucked me in and then when I saw your question about Root photography I may have squealed. I had just finished Lurkyloo's trip reports a month or so ago so I was familiar with the Roots then surprise surprise look who is at your wedding!! :yay: Your wedding was so beautiful! I love all the woodwork especially your cupcake stand!! I cant wait to follow along and see how the rest of your trip went!!

Good luck with your last 3% of unpacking!!

Becky

P.S. The barfing photo....awesome! My favorite part was your laugh!! I totally do the same with my 3 girls!!
Thank you! I'm so glad you love Lurky and the Roots as much as I do! truly wonderful , and genuinely good hearted people! Some of the nicest i have ever met, ever! I'm glad you could appreciate their pic of my son! It was hilarious living it! and Yall would be proud 9or not care at all) to know that I got my computer desk unpacked! About 1.5% more to go!

thank you so much. I am beyond flattered!!!

VERY cool! I love when people know our little town! Seems like many do too! We love it here!

Thank you! I am feeling MUCH better about it after meeting with his surgeon to be at Chop! Nervous of course as we won't know how bad it is until we see him, but better for sure! Thank you for sharing!!

I wish you the best and can't wait to read more about your Disney-familymoon. I am so jealous, I wish we did that!

Erin

Thank you! hoping to post another post tonight!!

Yay! Finally at Disney!!!:cool1: You're wedding was gorgeous by the way!

That's awesome that you all got some pixie dust with such a great room! We love POR so I understand about how great that view of the river can be.

Glad you are back an updating. I am amazed you guys drove all night and had enough energy to go to breakfast at Boma. We always eat there for dinner. One of these trips I am going to have to try breakfast.

Looking forward to more!

It's just SO gorgeous! Really helps the whole vacation feeling!

Thanks! Idk how we did it! Pure love, I think lol! Fuuny, I've only done breakfast there, the dinner kinda scares me....

I forgot that I have a number of iPhone pics that I took, Bob took and that Kayla took! I forgot about the series of state selfies she took! She cracks me up! She's right at that age, ya know. She has no where to post them because I'm that mean mom that won't let her social network, but she loves photography, and herself according to these pics lol!

I'm assuming she was busy throughout the other states, forgot, or was asleep lol! shes so silly!

First you are NOT a mean mom. She is 12 years old...she has plenty of time for social networking.

And I love her "selfies." Maybe she'll be a photographer one day. :)

Oh Kat, thank you! I def meant that sarcastically! She can kiss my grits if she thinks I'm bending on that rule! I AM the hip mom out of her group, so she should count her blessings! I see No reason for her to expose herself to anymore cattiness than what she probably deals with at school! Once you start posting pics you crave that attention, and if you don't get it, or get negative feed back its a ht her ego just does not need yet!

Her focus and goal right ow is to work for Disney as an imagineer. She is so fashionably and video creative, i'm not sure where it will lead, but I'm stoked she even thinks that far ahead!

At any rate, thank you! I think shes hilarious, it was fun to see these pics again!

Glad I am not the only one that won't let my kids on social medias.

Great pics though!!

You definitely aren't the only one :goodvibes My 12-year-old complains that he is the ONLY person (in the world, probably) who isn't on Instagram. I don't care :lmao:

The pics are a ton of fun - glad she was able to find something to amuse herself along the road. As for being an imagineer, hope you're planting "College Program" seeds in her head now - from everything I've read and what I heard on the CP/Frump Style podcast, it seems like the CP is a great way to get your foot in the door.

Anyhow, since I'm babbling on now, I might as well hand out some more New Hope love. It's an easy road trip from where I am in NJ, and such a fun & picturesque little town. =)

We had a blast. Came back Sunday :( last year we went in July, so I was used of the heat.

Love the pictures. Too cute :)

Loving the reviews. Your wedding was beautiful!! DH and I often say if we could go back and do it all again we'd definitely pare it down and make it much more meaningful. Too many extended family that we haven't seen since and parent's friends that - ditto. Yours was just so warm! I've been reading you since the beginning but don't post often.

Also a mean mom here (although we do allow skype with nana and papa - doesn't that count as social networking? :lmao: )

Awesome selfies! My DD takes them all the time in tqhe car and then distorts them with Photobooth.

I am so mean i wont let my 12 yo or 14 yo do social networking.

You're not the only one who disappeared for a month. You're very pregnant, so you are allowed. ;)

I love the start of your Disney trip and Kayla's State selfies.

I just finally caught up on your updates. Loving the POFQ view and all the state selfie pics! I'm glad you guys had success with Long Lost Friends Week! We kept trying to get up early to knock them all out but still missed a few. Tony was bummed he didn't get a pic with the Three Little Pigs and Big Bad Wolf because he brought his shirt with us! It's funny you mention the temperature. We were there the whole week before and left a day or two after you got there. The whole week it was 60s and below- still nice, but not at all what I packed for! I pretty much wore my hoodie over all my summer clothes and even wore my winter jacket! Finally at the end of the week it warmed up and of course it was much warmer at home in Chicago. Go figure!

Kayla hasn't tried that line yet, but I'm sure it's not to far away.. awful us.. OH WELL

Thanks for posting! I think we all have look back moments where we would do some things differently. I don't have any regrets really, but wish I'd added in a few things.

I allow pinterest, and facetime/skype with certain people. All monitored of course lol
