I am another one coming out of Lurkdom to comment on your trip report.
high five! welcome and thanks for joining!
Thank you for sharing the details of your wedding. The pictures were great, I think you looked radiantly beautiful on your special day, I loved how you included small touches to personalize the reception and photos. I wish I could do it again so I could copy your ideas!
thank you so much. I am beyond flattered!!!
I used to visit New Hope years ago to visit the shops and walk by the canal with my family who lived there. I haven't thought about that area in years and your outdoor pictures reminded me of the pretty town and shopping area.
VERY cool! I love when people know our little town! Seems like many do too! We love it here!
We are a lucky group- ladies who have found their true loves after kissing a frog, thinking he was a prince. How fortunate for you that your prince is a fan of Disney and believes in Disney Magic! I am working on convincing my prince of Disney Magic, but he doesn't buy it yet.
Oh, I hope he does!
I also wanted to add to the words of encouragement for your little guy. My nephew was born with club foot 13 years ago. My sister did not know before he was born, but with casting treatment and 1 surgery at about 9 months old, he is fine now. The only way you notice it is that one leg is slightly skinnier than the other. Doesn't slow him down at all. In fact, when he was a baby, they had to go in weekly to get a new hip to foot cast put on his leg. We called it "The Clunker" (well, we are from NYC originally, so we called it 'da clunka') anyway, he used that cast as a counter-balance to help him sit up early, and to stand at the coffee table. In fact, he had no problems crawling, he just threw the leg around to the side, and moved forward. He was faster than my other nephew who was 6 weeks younger. I am not sure if that is the same method that the others have mentioned, but whatever you choose for your precious little guy, he will be wonderful and know that he has two parents who love him dearly, and 2 older siblings who will teach him all that they know.
Thank you! I am feeling MUCH better about it after meeting with his surgeon to be at Chop! Nervous of course as we won't know how bad it is until we see him, but better for sure! Thank you for sharing!!
I wish you the best and can't wait to read more about your Disney-familymoon. I am so jealous, I wish we did that!
