I get to stay at the Venetian!!!

Has anyone stayed there? What fun things are there to do? I am not much of a gambler. The last time I was in Vegas was 14 years ago so I am sure it has changed a lot! Tell me lots of good stuff please! Thanks!

Didn't actually make it there on a recent trip, but others in our group did. They have a shopping mall with restaurants, and a canal that you can ride gondolas through. For a fee, of course. It's a beautiful place. Only problem with it, it's in Vegas, not Disney.

I have stayed in the Venetian. We were really lucky and were given a free up grade when we checked in. We were given one of the high roller suites on the second to top floor with 2 bedrooms, 2 jacuzzis a steam room and our own sauna amongst other things (the suite was bigger than my house!). Plus we had a complete view either way down the strip!! (not quite sure why we were given a high roller suite as DH and I are both teachers so definately not high rollers!!)

I loved looking around the shops, going on the gondola rides and just lazing around the many pools. Make sure you check out all the other hotels as there is a lot to see and do. I enjoyed going indoor skydiving at the indoor skydive centre just off the strip. Plus our helicopter flight to the Grand Canyon.

My mom's co-worker was also given an upgrade since they checked in late. We had gone there and looked at the shops, and rode the gondola which was nice.

Not being in Disney is a problem but I have to compromise occasionally with DH! We will be on the cruise ship right before so I'll get a bit of Disney. I am sorry not to be at the parks this year! I am glad it looks nice!
