It's hard isn't it? Keeping everything straight and narrow? Nope, my nose is just fine, thanks. I did hear about a high government official that had some trouble with his, I think he was snorting something. Or was he mining for gold? No, I think he was looking for oil.

I love it - almost a week after the election and some still feel the need to say Nah nay na nah nah. Pathetic really. Seriously - this is just another blatant slap in the face to those of us who weren't on your side. Does ever occur to you that we worked just as hard, and were just as proud, and just as supportive to our candidate as you were to yours? There are real issues in the world and we backed a candidate that we thought would best support our interest. He lost. It isn't just the man that lost but the interest that we supported also lost. That actually means something to those of us and we are seriously disappointed about it. If you are happy - fine! You also supported your candidate and he won - you deserve to feel that way. But I think these blatant displays of self congratulatory behaviour have long out stayed their welcome. If we are to continue the debate let us debate the issues and not what state went red and what state went blue.

Absolutely not. And, I did not accuse you of doing that. Plus, we have freedom of speech here. . .if some people feel the need to write 2 pages of hate-filled insults regarding certain conservative posters, they can be my guest. The people I mentioned were the people who were specifically insulting. However, there were more people on there, who really either just agreed or disagreed.

I stayed out of it. . .let them have their fun, I thought. Although someone sent me the link on here (a friend) so I could defend myself. I chose not to.

What are you on about woman ! I know no such thing. Please show us all what you are talking about. In other words, put up or shut up. You cannot just start claiming people said specific things about specific people on some supposed thread.

I kept my mouth ..err I mean keyboard shut for a long time. I watched as a hand full of Bush supporters got ripped to pieces over the last year. (shame on me) I only started coming out with about two months to go.

As far as turning it on a week after the election. Take a good long look at some of the still going anti-Bush posts. I did wait for a week before I felt it necessary to post.

The one that really got to me was the post about. I can’t find it now… but it said something about “being disenfranchised with America..something about how “I now know how the Suicide bombers feel”. What the **** is up with that..and that was from a Kerry supporter.

I also love the threads that cropped up about how the 2004 election was “fixed” like the 2000 election. Or the one on the day after the election telling us : “But it sure would help us all on the CB if everyone would go through and delete all the political campaign ads and slogans from their signatures. We might all get along a bit better.”

Again are President Bush supporters NOT allowed to celebrate? You tell me!
