I finally understand the love of Krispy Cremes!

They just put one in not far from my home and I was driving by and the sign was lit "Hot donuts!' Since they had a drive thru I thought why not! YUMMY! There is a difference!
Thank Goodness the store isnt up the street!

I have had Krispy Kreme donuts, but never hot. Are they better hot? Supposedly, they're putting a Krispy Kreme in near where I live...we can only hope.

Another vote for hot Krispy Kremes. That last few times I have gone to our Krispy Kreme (about 30 miles from my house) they were not hot. I was sooo disappointed. Make a special trip and no hot ones. Now I am craving!!!

we just went on a homeschool field trip to a Krispy Creme last week. It was really neat seeing how they make them. If anyone likes creme filled, try the new coffe and creame ones. Oh they are sinfully good.

They are only good when they are hot. They are way toooo sweet, the texture is too smooth and I think that they are somewhat tasteless. Beaches and Cream serves them, I think, because they have a longer shelf life than other donuts. Give me a Dunkin Donut any day. Better yet, a Dunkin Donut coffee roll. Positively addictive. They aren't on my diet however.

If you have a room temperature Krispy Kreme, give it 8-10 seconds in the microwave and it's almost as good as a fresh one!

When I was a little girl, we were stationed at Eglin AFB in Fort Walton Beach, FL. One of the original Krispy Creme stores is on the main drag through that town. A trip to the Krispy Kreme store was a real treat. I thought all doughnuts tasted like that. Well, we moved, and I learned otherwise.

I've had them once, straight off the production line in a new shop last summer in San Francisco. You can't beat them fresh. MMmm...Donuts....

You can call and ask if the light is on. However, my experience has been that the light is normally on early in the morning (just in case you need to know) We used to road trip from the dorms at about 2 am Light was always on then! LOL!!!
