I feel so fancy!

I've always stayed at a value resort but this September we're booked at CBR thanks to the FD offer! I had the chance to get POFQ but it was $57 more.

It's just going to be me and my three daughters ages 12, 10 and 9. We'll probaly only do one pool day so pool isn't critical.

What should I do, keep my CBR reservation or switch to POFQ?

We did CBR last year because of free dining too! However, looking back on it I believe we should have done POFQ. I've never stayed at POFQ, but I believe I would like it a lot more than CBR. CBR was huge! For $57 more, I would chose POFQ if I had the chance.

Is that $57 more total? I would probably do it. This past November I had FD booked at POFQ when my sister decided to join me and we couldn't get a second room so we had to switch to CBR. There were nice things about CBR (pool, food court, grounds) but I found my room quite - tired. There has been a "soft goods" refurb but between the rusty ac unit and the double beds I would have preferred POFQ (frankly we could have gotten CSR and I should have taken that!) Anyhow - if you can handle the $57 I would do it!

I would think the $57 is worth it bc doesn't POFQ have queen beds and CBR has double beds? That alone is worth the $57! Have fun on your trip!

I booked CBR but really wanted POR. I thought a GV was going to be 250.00 more but it's only 100.00 more. I really want to be in the alligator section. Not sure what to do.

We just switched to POFQ from ASMO with the FD offer thru Disney Visa. We have had to cancel our last 2 trips so I am super excited for this one. I get even more excited when I see the pictures, it looks beautiful. I think you made a good choice.

You made the right choice. While I havent stayed at POP, I can say FQ is beautiful and the boat to DTD is a most peaceful and fun way to travel Excellent choice!

POFQ is absolutely lovely. You are going to LOVE it. We are really battling between POR and POFQ this trip. We LOVED how small POFQ is and how close anything is and the fact that most of the times there was just the one bus stop (a couple of times we went around to the POR stops). But we also found that we spent a lot of time walking/boating over to POR for the bigger food court, bigger playground, bike rentals, etc. So we are thinking this time POR is the better bet. But in the end I think the price will be the deciding factor! Can't wait to Monday to settle this once and for all!

Your post made me laugh because I was feeling the same way! We have always stayed at a value too. We are staying at POR. I called right away yesterday morning and they told me POFQ was not available but we need 3 rooms for our party size. I like the idea of POFQ being smaller. I think either way we are all going to have a great time!

Alot of fancy firsts for our family too. First time FD, first time POR, first time upgrade room level(RGR), first time 8 day trip, first time September, first time at WDW as a father. After deposit and Visa reward $, only $2400 OOP! I couldn't be more stoked about this trip.

Good!! I was just about to respond that you should switch - no question!! Newly refurbed, queen beds (thats what sells me!) and it's MUCH smaller. We stayed at CBR a few years back, and it just couldn't compare to POFQ in my opinion. $57 well spent!

Great decision! You will be so glad. We love POFQ, and the extra $57 is so worth it. You'll also really love the difference between POFQ & the value you're used to staying in.
