Wow, I just read through the other thread and it does sound very much the same.
I am guessing that it is not the same person though as she talked to a woman and the person I dealt with was a man. I know we are not allowed to post about names and such so I won't email and ask her but maybe a mod could let me know just to be sure.
I do have a message sent to the person on here through pm and we will see if that does anything. They are "fairly" active on the boards posting about once to twice a month so I really hope this will reach them.
I am seriously so bummed today that I can't seem to get much done. All I have done for the last month is planned planned planned. I have been tweaking dining reservations, signing the kids up for the YES program classes, checking park hours, etc. I just can't believe this is happening.
I am holding out so much hope that you guys are right and the person ended up being able to change my view selection and has just not informed me yet for some reason so it has changed the reservation #. I seriously have no other reasons not to trust them so this would really come out of nowhere for me. I tell you though, it is a horrible thing to experience on your first time renting from somebody. We have wanted to stay at BW for YEARS and I was more looking forward to that than anything. If we have lost it (and I see that it looks pretty booked up now for our week) and can't get it back then I am going to be so very upset. I mean, of all teh scams in the world, why would ANYONE choose this? To take money from a family who is trying their best to book a nice trip for themselves and their small children?? Who does that?? I am not saying my renter did this to us but in general for anyone who has had this happen. It is terrible!
