DH has a job interview this afternoon . He is sooo unhappy in his current job (been there 11 yrs) and has been sending out resumes for about 2 years. He is in accounting and with all the banks laying off around here there is an abundance of people with that background looking for jobs. That along with his age is a big hinderance.

Anyway, he hasn't had an interview since right after he started sending out resumes. He is really excited about the one this afternoon because it looks like a good strong company. Yesterday he got a call for an interview with another company on Fri! This one is not as lucrative- smaller family owned co and he would be setting up the accounting dept. He is leary of what kind of mess he would be walking in to but it is at least an interview!!!

I have sat in on numerous interviews for my co over the past year so we 'practiced' some question and answers. So I think he is prepared.

We can use all the prayers and PD you can spare.

That's the way it went me also. Nothing for a year then I couldn't take enough time off to go to all the interviews that came in. I'm in accounting also and I just started a new job on Monday. Great place and I plan on staying here for the rest of my career. Good luck.
