I don't think it's fair....

...that as a passholder I must go to the park to get my special pins or lanyards.

I live in the Chicago area! As much as I'd love to go and get that pin or whatever, I can't. So I think we should have the option of mail order.

Am I wrong? Am I missing something?

Your missing the point that if they let you get them by mail they wouldn't be making any extra money off of you. Even though you don't have to pay to get into the park because you have a pass, you still will most likely eat and buy things while you are there and you might even stay on property. That's my opinion anyway. They want to get as much money out of you as possible so if you get get the pins/lanyard in the mail they might not get as much.

You can sort of feel like you are there (well, minus the rides, restaurants, resorts, attractions, characters and ambience ) by coming to at least one of the Chicago DIS meets this year. (Well, we do have some characters, LOL )
