I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

Poor little sweet Bella...
I hope it wasn't her MeMom that put her in timeout.

She had to love the fact that you were taking those pictures of her in her misery....

I hope she was up and swimming in no time at all!

Poor pouty Bella! Time outs are no fun! But I'm glad the sun finally came out for you! :goodvibes

The father and son moment doesn't look to me as if it were a good one. Looks like someone else maybe needed a time out. But that happens, MK is definitely an overwhelming place sometimes. I'm glad you enjoyed wandering!

That is too funny about Bella falling asleep on the way to MK and I the pictures of her in time out had me cracking up!
Spending the night playing Disney Candy Land sounds like so much fun! I still have mine. Do the girls like Chutes and Ladders? That was my favorite and still is!

They like to play any kind of board game. That's not something we do too often, so when we get to do that or put a puzzle together, they enjoy it. They spent about half an hour in a very deep tub with assorted playthings, and then we played games. It was a simple and fun evening.

Love those pictures of Bella! As I always tell my hubby, those are the pictures to save for the wedding slide shows!!!

She wasn't real happy, was she?

Hello MeMom!
This is the first time I've read one of your TRs but you can bet I'm going to go read all of the others! I've really loved this one !

First You HAVE to use some of those 'time out' pictures of Bella at her wedding rehersal dinner! They are priceless !!!

AND don't know if you've tried this but I get a lot of used books from Amazon for a fraction of the cost. Try searching some of the titles of the animal books you liked at AK and see what the used cost is. HTH

I have actually bought some books on Amazon before. I got a couple Disney cookbooks that way. I buy books for my classroom from yard sales, too, because those are almost 'a steal' - some for a dime or a quarter! :cool1:

We are certainly glad to have you joining our DIStown fun. Make yourself at home and join in whenever.

Thank you for the lovely tour of MK! I'm glad you got some sunshine!!

Those pictures of Bella in time out were so funny!! Little pouty!

I'm sad I'm going to miss the big Pop meet too!! :( I know my girls would love to meet those little cuties of yours! They've seen a lot of the pictures! At least I know I can have another meet during my stay.

You should still get to see a bunch of people. I think most of the gang is arriving as we are leaving.

I just got back from Disney and I am already counting the days until I go back. Your pictures have helped. Next trip Pop Century here I come. I am coming home.

This past trip I added a EPCOT mug and a DHS mug to add to my theme park collection. Thanks again for my MK mug. My next trip I hope to bring back a AK mug.

You'll have to share some pictures!

I can't even tell you how many of those plastic travel mugs from parks and resorts that I have. The number is so high that it's kind of a joke now. ;)

Moi??? Surely you jest! I would never put that perfect little angel in time out.

Well, maybe I would, but that time, it was her Mommy who was the meanie.

It was so nice to see sunshine!

I hope the little boy in the picture got himself righted with his dad quickly and then went on to have a magical day. pixiedust:

Love love love the time out montage! What a great scrapbook page that would make!

If Jill ever gets time to scrapbook again, she might just do that. Bella might laugh at herself in those pictures when she's looking back on them as a teenager.

Actually, she might have some of the same looks at times when she is a teenager. :scratchin
Only it probably won't be as cute then. :upsidedow

I am going to guess that was a not so great father/son moment. Oh well, happens to us all!

Oh Bella. Her time out photos are hilarious. Cute little pout she has! :rotfl:

Jill is a good mommy to make Bella follow the rules, but it must be hard to put Bella's cute little self on time out.

I am so glad to see that you all got to see the sun at least once!

At least it looks like they were sitting and discussing, rather than having a big meltdown, so that's good. :goodvibes

It's not often that Bella has that pouty face. She's usually a very happy little girl. I think age 3 has been a little rougher on her than 2 was, though.

How many folks will we have for the Pop meet? And 1:30 still or another time?

Several. I'd say about 7-8 families. Yep, 1:30. We will have to make our last minute restroom stops and be out front for UnME at about 3. We'll see what the weather is doing before we decide if we are meeting at the food court back by the kiddie TV or out at the Bowling Pin pool.

We're gonna need lots of pictures! ;)

With everything new, I think my camera is going to get quite a workout! ::yes::

It is hard to fuss at her, because she can get some silly expressions at times she needs to corrected. She makes us laugh often. BUT, since we don't want her to be a little 'brat', she gets her share of correction. ;)

After the sun appeared, the rest of the days, with the exception of 4th of July evening, were wonderful! :cool1:

It was the beginning of another Disney day. Mickey and Minnie were up and ready.

Jill's crew 'slept in', which is never late, but it just means they took their time, and there was no immediate getting ready for a park to be done.

This day was going to be one filled with a lot of relaxing. We were first going to go eat breakfast at Art of Animation.

The girls and I walked down to Classic Hall, allowing Jill and John to get ready kid-free. They did some arcade stuff - fake style - no money involved. They have been happy with that so far, but Brooklynn is now discovering the world of electronics, so I'm thinking fake is not going to fly with her any longer. ;)

At Landscapes of Flavor (is that the correct official name?), breakfast choices were made.

Jill said the omelets she got here were very good.

June2012Part1904.jpg

Some yard work being done is as picture-worthy as the earlier door replacement, don't you think? :) I mean, you've gotta have this mundane stuff to keep the magic going.

Laundry room.

June2012Part1906.jpg

Mr. Marc's taxi service picked us up later, and we went to the Beach Club. (I think this was the morning Jill and I made a grocery run with them, as well. Huge help to the food budget. Thanks, Marc!)

These people live there.

June2012Part1907.jpg

Here are some of their pets.

June2012Part1908.jpg

The pets are clearly not afraid of humans, considering I am close enough to step on their fluffy little tails.

Inside Beach Club.

June2012Part1911.jpg

My mistake. This is not Beach Club - it's FAO Schwarz!

June2012Part1912.jpg

Pretty view.

Spoiled children getting presents from their own Fairy Godmother.

June2012Part1914.jpg

It is not uncommon for Anita to say, "Oh, I found these on sale, so I bought 87 of them."

I think this is Jill saying, "You are a crazy lady!" ;)

Brooklynn loved playing with this.

Bella was happy checking out the dolls.

I invaded Baylor's room to take pictures.

June2012Part1923.jpg

My friend, Kay, and I are staying a few nights in a room like this in the spring, compliments of those people who live there, so I needed to do some research. :)

The sink area is big enough to be a bedroom for me. To have this much space with the big closet for getting suitcases out of the way...not to mention access to the secret entrance to Epcot - WOW! :cool1: We will think we are big stuff!!!

On our way to the pool, we had to stop in the lobby for something. Key cards, maybe? I don't recall.

Here are the girls patiently (?) waiting.

:rotfl:

I will leave you with that for this morning. Have a great weekend, DIStown! I get to see my girls for a short time tomorrow, as they are meeting John's parents in Nashville to give up Ben until after trip time.

This is going to be very very hard to write...I am not going to be joining you all in WDW in a couple weeks.
I am very sad about it, this trip meant a lot to me. I will miss getting to meet you all again.

I knew it was a gamble booking a trip at this time of year because of the work I do.
I found out yesterday that it wasn't going to be possible.
Something came up and my boss has got to go out of town now.

Thankfully Lexi wasn't too bummed...I gave her a new MH doll and we went and saw Nemo in 3D last night.
It is a great movie but I am still very disappointed we are not going.

I know you will take tons of pics at MNSSHP so that will help.

I think I may go longer in January...havn't decided yet.

Sorry I'm kinda a downer today....this cancellation was very hard to do. :sad1:

OH, I'm so sorry! That always stinks that someone else (work) gets in the way of a vacation! I'm glad Lexi wasn't too heartbroken! I will be taking lots of pics at MNSSHP too so hopefully you can feel like you were there with some of us. I hope you can add some days in January!:flower3::grouphug:

Wow! Anita really is a fairy godmother!!!

Was that a Flynn Rider doll too? Never seen one of those. Very cool.

Jill and John must just love having you on the trips with them so they can catch a break once in a while when you take the girls. And I know you love it too. It's a win-win!
How cute is that shot from "behind" of Bella!!
I love Brooklynn's smile with the missing teeth - it really shows her excitement! The Beach Club is so pretty and has that nice relaxed look to it. OF course, some days in the pool or lobby are not all that relaxed!! I hope your was fun!

Oh yeah - $1.10 more for cruddy WDW bacon with your Mickey Waffle? No thanks.

FIRST of all, I'm going to post to Lana. I'm really sad that you had to cancel. Shame on that boss of yours for going out of town!
I was so looking forward to seeing you again!

Second to MeMom.
Since I'm not writing a trip report it was fabulous to see pictures of our "house" :p
The look on Jill's face was...."I can't believe you only paid $14.99 for this play set". They were such a bargain. That's the beauty of driving, if you find the need to buy a "few" extra, they can be fit into the van. Your commentary had me laughing until tears ran down my face. :lmao:
Your text yesterday made me smile. What a happy thought. For you it's so close. For us, a week behind you.

Any of us would be down, too, of course. We live for our trips, right? ;)
I am glad you got the little dose of Disney at the movie.
You know we will have a million pictures!
I hope you get to add on time in January. That would be a great reward for your patience, and January will be here in a flash. October, November, and December always seem to fly by!

She has one of everything Disney has ever made, I think. At least one.

And just FYI, I got a text from her a while ago that said she was sending a box to Jill's house this week, and in it were two picture frames that I might be able to use in my Toy Story classroom. She said she had found them on sale a while back.......

and

she

bought 87 of them! :faint:

:rotfl:

Such a coincidence about the number, huh? ;)

It is a win-win deal when I have the girls. Jill and John get to go and eat and shop and sometimes go to the parks to ride things with no strollers on and off the buses, and I get precious time with my girls. Just 'sneaking' down to the food court to snag an ice cream treat and taking a walk around the resort is a treasured evening.

We stayed at BC a few hours. It was a relaxed day. I'm not a big one for sitting at the pool, so I wandered around taking pictures, which you will see soon. :goodvibes

It is really almost here. pixiedust: We are so excited for Jill's friend and her family. This is their first family trip, so we hope it will be amazing for them.

Your Beach Club house is awesome. Just don't forget who the solarium belongs to. :wave2:

What a fun time at Beach Club! Anita is so sweet to get the girls those gifts!! :lovestruc. And Marc is so nice to provide his taxi service! :thumbsup2

I may be there in March with y'all. It would prob be less than a full week, but I'll see what I can do!! :cool1:
