I Don't Know, I Don't Speak Wind!!

Oh my! Pat, I've never imagined guys belly dancing. Well except for Baylor. He kind of does that when Mo'Rockin is playing.

And Yes.

After music in Morocco we try to catch a concert in England. He was a huge fan of British Invasion. The new group, he hasn't commented on too much.

Glad to hear the doctors visit went well for Jill and Sophie.

I hope Jill gets her strength back in time for your trip....its getting close! 4 weeks is awesome! :goodvibes

I can't wait to see the first pics of Sophie in front of the castle.

Wish I could be joining you in 4 weeks but it's our Thanksgiving...the true start of our Holiday seasons here in Canada.

I'm a little bummed that I cancelled our trip in a few weeks cause I read that they are testing out the new fastpass then. Would have been fun to try it out.

Funny that you asked if Lexi has any Disney in her locker...cause I mentioned to her that she just had to have a little Disney represented among the teen heart throb pics and Monster High. She agreed.

Not very good start to the weekend for us ..... my DMom, Lexi and I are all sick.
Must have been the hot dogs last night.
Its been a long night and not too pretty.

Morocco is such a fun pavillion to wander around. I like it best after Illuminations when most of the other people have gone home. It feels like you are really wandering the streets of Marrakesh, late at night (or from what I imagine it would be like! :goodvibes ).

We always seem to end up at American for food too! Someday I hope my little man will branch out away from chicken nuggets, but for now, I'm happy he eats at least that much! :rotfl:

Candleonthewater- that distown kid I just wished a happy 15th to...still eating the nuggets! Hopefully, yours branches out sooner! lol

I love, love, love the Morocco pavilion! It reminds me so much of my best friend and all her pictures from there. They really, REALLY do a good job with the theming and the details of everything!

I just turned my yucky day into a better one.
Physically I may still feel very crummy but inside I am happy-happy. :)

I booked us a quick trip for Halloween. 4 nights, 4 days at POP!!! MNSSHP!!!
Dates are Oct.28 - Nov.1. :)

Amazing deal on the flights...our cheapest yet! :)

If we lived closer, we could meet for evening walks around World Showcase. I can make myself walk down there so much better than I do here.

That does sound so nice and relaxing. It would be so great to just stroll around the World Showcase, absorb it all slowly. Stop and smell the roses in the UK. Listen to the music. Watch the shows. Watch the people. Look at the details. Everything. Sounds just heavenly to me! :cloud9:

That is too funny! In about 10 years, she'll care more about their fellas. I used to adore Wendy, but now I'd rather her not be there when I meet Peter Pan, so I can have him all to myself.
Glad to hear things went well at the doctor today for Jill and Sophie. How are the girls doing with their new baby sister? :goodvibes

Yeah, and I have a feeling that little pixie-sized girl is going to be a heartbreaker, too. ;)

The girls love their baby. They have to hold her for a little while every morning before they leave for school.

My husband loves to eat in Morocco...the rest of us not so much. He will go to Morocco, B and I to the uk for fish and chips and J looks for nuggets and fries...some things never change. Last trip we said more time in the WS, but it didn't happen. This year, we are going to really try :)

Glad there were good reports from the doc today. Hope all is well with school...bet your students missed you :)

The only thing I think I have had from there is baklava. I have had lamb, but it was a lamb slider, and I don't think it was in Morocco.

I did have a mom tell me her son kept saying he was ready for me to get back. At least I know I was missed a little bit, anyway. ;)

I used to work at place that had belly dancing classes.
Lets just say that the belly dancers in EPCOT are so much better.

I did have a sight watching the GUYS belly dance--- yes I said guys.:eek: NOT PRETTY

Today was "team building day" With the city on lockdown and 2 of 3 of our facilities closed since they are in the vicinty of the arena the convention is being held, we chose today to do our annual team buidling. We went to play paintball. It was a bit humid and sticky but overall better than being in the office. :rolleyes1

It was hot and humid here, too. I think we're supposed to have a cold front coming through, though, to bring it down a notch or two.

Enjoy your off time. :thumbsup2

I heard the new group for a few minutes this summer, but I don't really have enough British Invasion experience to be able to compare.

We were also big fans of British Invasion. I miss them. The new group is just so so.

I heard them for a few minutes. What is the official group name?

Sorry you guys aren't feeling well. I hate to be sick.

I see that your Disney travel plans have now changed.

DisTown kid, Justin, turns 15 today :) :(

Happy Birthday from DIStown!

The girls are chicken nugget crazy. And mac and cheese crazy, too. Especially Bella. She loves anything with cheese.

I think Epcot's Morocco probably smells better than a place where there are real camels roaming around.

Candleonthewater- that distown kid I just wished a happy 15th to...still eating the nuggets! Hopefully, yours branches out sooner! lol

It was discovered last week that Bella likes onion rings. Brooklynn didn't like them, but I was happy she at least tried one. We've been telling them to just try one bite of anything new, because they'll never know if they might really end up liking it.

I love, love, love the Morocco pavilion! It reminds me so much of my best friend and all her pictures from there. They really, REALLY do a good job with the theming and the details of everything!

Yes, they did. I hope any other country they put in will be beautifully themed, as well.

Jill messaged me about your news! :cool1:

::yes:: It would be great to go over there for a walk around the WS loop in the evenings. Of course, if I lived down there, I probably wouldn't do that. People who find out we live in Music City think we go to the Grand Old Opry and all the country music stuff all the time, but we don't.

The next country I spent a little time in was France.

These would make nice Disney/non-Disney souvenirs, too.

This is kind of odd, in my opinion. Creative, I guess, but different.

I had my mission - a Napoleon.

June2012Part1570.jpg

It was as good as everyone had reported.

With that done, I made the long walk back to the bus stops. Here's an informational sign with Art of Animation added.

I'll have the ham and cheese sandwich. Baylor wants the pizza. I don't see it on the menu but he always gets one and goes on and on, how it's just the best thing ever!

Ham and cheese with an apple tart please!
Yumyumyum!!!!

Cute stuff in the shop, I need another tote like a hole in my head but that is tempting!

Love that passport-stamp tote! Hopefully it will still be there for you next month. I just snagged a cheapo Mickey tote at the grocery store the other day. Did I really need yet another cheap shopper? Nope -- but it was Mickey!

Yeah, that shoe tree is beyond me. I just don't get it.

For my midnight snack, I'll have the fruit bavarois, please. Yum!

This TR is proceeding at a rate at which I cannot even hope to keep up! When I subscribed, it was at page 35, and I've only read up to about page 21, and it's past page 65! I guess I need to stop reading everyone's replies, and just read the pages with MeMom's and Jill's photos in them!

Updated at 5:12 AM to add: Caught up! I am glad Jill is feeling better after her emergency operation, and I hope it does not negatively affect your plans to go to Disney in a few weeks!

I have heard good things about the ham and cheese. Sounds good, and I will have to get one sometime when I am looking for more that a snack. Pizza sounds like a great choice, too.

32 for DHS !!!! 15 for POP is far enough. For 32 you just walk around right?

The teacher in me could not help but hear this -

Pop: That's not fair! Art skipped me!!!
(The new kid, Art, just sits there looking all innocent.) :rolleyes1

Aren't they redoing this shop and expanding it? I think I read that it is being refurbished. I will try more things in the future. A lot of stuff looked good!

I don't need anoter tote, either, so the angel on my right shoulder won out. The devil on my left is taunting me now, because I still think it's a cool tote, and it is unlike any other I have seen. If I see it in October, the devil may win out. Then the angel can taunt me when it lays on a shelf being unused. :upsidedow

You guys are talking me into the tote, so now I know they'll be sold out!

Shoe tree = definitely different.

A fruit bavarois. I'll have to try that sometime. We usually share a new snack among us so everyone can get a taste. If I am off on one of my photo walking sessions, half of the snack usually gets tossed or taken back to the room. I did a pretty good job scarfing down that Napoleon by myself, however. It wasn't super big, like some desserts are.

I am trying to keep up with putting the picture pages in my first post, but when life gets hectic, it may lag for a couple of sessions. I am caught up now, I think, so for you and anyone else who just wants the pictures, hopefully this will help.

No, the bad things are not going to stop our trip. I imagine Jill will still not be at full speed, even in four weeks, but that's a good thing for me. I'm usually bringing up the rear trying to keep up with the race horses, so maybe it will be easier for me to keep up with the pace this time. ;)

I'd be right with you getting a Napoleon!!! :thumbsup2

I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to find the tote bag again! I've seen them around all of the World Showcase stores (mine's from the U.K., actually), but I think I've seen them in that International Traders store by the International Gateway as well.

I have been up since 3am...couldn't sleep. The major storm outside didnt help either.
Going to be a very loooong day at work today! :headache:

I have to confess I made a change to the trip. (not surprized are you. :rotfl:)
I just didn't feel comfortable with not being at work for Halloween week.
I think I talked myself into it yesterday because of the cheap flights. And who am I kidding, I wanted to go and Lexi was excited too.

So, instead I booked from Oct.13-16 at POP! Early flight in/late flight out. 4 park days and MNSSHP! :yay:

Flights and room were more but so be it.

I can't believe we will miss each other by a day. :sad1:

Lexi and I did some shopping for Disney Halloween merchandise yesterday.

She got a tee and the new Mickey & Minnie plushies.

I got Pumpkin Mickey ears that light up and a tote.

I wanted to get these in case they were sold out by the time we got there. In August the only Halloween items that came home with us were a lanyard and the countdown.
Isn't it cute!

I enjoyed our stroll in France.
I like the shoe tree. One of my favorite things is looking at all the creative window displays.
I think you should get that tote...I think I saw it in Germany too! :goodvibes

I guess I need to get ready for work. I'm feeling better compared to yesterday.
