I didn't think it was abig deal, you only choked once!! Update 9/18 final thoughts

Although the building wasn't exactly what we wanted the view and the area were just beautiful!


After getting settled we headed to the pool to cool off some.

I love these little horse sprayers! They are so adorable!

The area was so cute and I liked this set up better than the main pool area

While we were there I had my usual Pina Colava and my dad had a Saratoga Springs Beer

After soaking up the sun it was time to head back to the room to get ready for dinner.

We spotted the Character's In Flight Balloon on our way back!

I also had my parents stop for a cute picture

I took tons of pics to make up for my lack of a camera the past day

Hidden Mickey!

My mom opened up her Mother's Day present when we got to the room

She had been wanting a Duffy so we got her one and also bought an outfit for him later on in the trip


We were excited to head back to Cape May Cafe! We loved the buffet there when we went in August so we were anxious to head back and eat tons of crab legs!


To get to the Beach Club we decided to take the boat from Saratoga to DTD and of course took tons of pics along the way there!

I forget why but we stopped in the gift shop for a few.

We continued our walk and found this little room that looked so cozy!

I thought this sign was adorable!

It took a while for a boat to finally get there and it was a hot day

We finally arrived at DTD and when we walked past this statue I tried sitting on his lap but ended up burning my legs

When we walked past the Lego store we noticed the new Lego statues and had to take pics! I love these and think they fit the area much better than the ones they previously had!

We passed by a band playing in the amphitheater

My parents dragged me past TrenD because we didn't have time to shop! I love their display windows though!

Then transfer to a bus. Once we got to the Beach Club we immediately missed being there It is such an amazing resort and I definitely missed Stormalong Bay! Seeing the hotel brought back all of the great memories of our last trip


Now I didn't take any pictures at dinner in part because I was hungry, partly because we already posted pics of it but mainly because it was a mad house! There were tons of people there Our little hideaway has become a major dining place Unfortunately with most buffets at Disney that are popular the quality of food and the ambiance has gone down The food was not as good as it used to be and left us a bit sad. The only redeeming factors were the Blondie brownie and the peanut butter cookies. Needless to say we won't be going there in August.

After dinner we were headed to Epcot to see a Monkee and have the best snack I have ever had at Disney!

Yay for getting your camera charger back and yay for all the pics sorry cape may cafe didn't live up to your previous visits . I hate when a place loses its charm. my mom and i had gome to the rose and crown for our past couple of trips and neither one of us was as impressed the 2nd time as we were the first time. also sad you didn't get to look inside trendy while you were in DTD but the display looks cute and hopefully you did get to go in there at some point this trip. Btw, the boat ride over to DTD looked super pretty can't wait to hear about your night.

DH and I are going to the real Saratoga race track later this summer, hopefully we will have time to go through the town as well (staying with friends so sometimes the sightseeing doesn't always happen!); the pictures of your parents came out really nice too!

Your pictures really make me want to stay there. I love that picture of the peace sign, heart and classic mickey. Well done I'm interested to see what the best snack is!

My mom and I stayed at SSR in Grandstand in May too; May 9-13th. We were in room 9312. It is a nice resort, big but nice. We enjoyed being able to walk to DTD; so convenient...but hot!!!

It was such a nice resort! The only downside to it was how big it is and how long it took to get anywhere on the bus system. Other than that we loved it!

I loved the pool area! They are re-doing one of them and I am excited to see how it turns out!

I know I had a huge smile on my face while posting this thinking of how much fun we had I can't wait to go back next month!

We talked to the waitress and they said it has continued to get busier and more popular. Unfortunately I don't think it will go back to being the little hideaway it once was
