Awww....thank you!!!you're as beautiful now as you were when you started this!
You look so good! Remember the kid who knocked over your dole whip float? He's almost 16 - its like having a man in the house (guess he is, but its hard to accept sometimes). He's in high school, so no more September trips for us (I really miss when they were all homeschooled
). He's a beautiful soccer player (so fun to watch - perfectly balanced, composed, graceful almost), but sometimes still clumsy off the field
.
OMG! I just read this entire thread, and I just want to say I LOVE your hair! You are gorgeous!
I love to see black women with short natural hair, or loc'd hair, it is so beautiful!
My son inherited his curly coarse blond hair from his daddy, and he is growing it out. He's going for long, but it just keeps getting wider!I have to constantly remind him that when he is conditioning in the shower he has to comb it through very well, as he has been prone to what we lovingly refer to as an "incidental white kid dreadlock". Who knows, maybe he'll loc it when it's long, I've never seen white hair loc on it's own like his. I don't normally like dreads on white folks, because it's usually girls or boys with stick straight hair and they are forcing it to do beyond what it is capable of. But my son could probably pull it off pretty easily.
Sorry for that tangent....... I really loved reading your whole story, and the progress photos. You radiate joy and happiness with your gorgeous face and hair! Kudos for sticking with it in the early stages. Your persistence really paid off!![]()
Taken Just now.... I know I look GIGANTIC, but it's about 10 degrees here, and I have
on LOTS of layers. But never mind that....take a peek at my hair!
