I have had an MS issues that has caused me to be passed from person to person for over 3 months. When I called yesterday, I got lucky and got a great CM. He apologized for all the delays, said he would "need an hour to complete the paperwork" and would call back to confirm I am set.

Low and behold, I get home to a message from Tom at DVC. I am thinking great, here we go again, passing me round and round. Well 2 sentences into the message he must have realized what he did and said "when we spoke this morning, I believe I went by the name of xxxx". I was laughing so hard as I knew it was a seudo name in the morning.

Guess the reality is you can have to rename your self for the call center but there are not promises!!
 
That is too funny! :rotfl: I often wondered if some CMs took liberties with their names. Now we know :smooth: .
 
Of course the use alternate names. Imagine how many "Tom"s there may be working for DVC. They need to be able to track folks down if there is a "problem."
 
My understanding from Mary, is that out of approx. 600 DVC MS workers, about 150 are 'phone reps'. Per Disney rules, (or perhaps DVC rules) only one of each name can 'exist' on the phones at one time!

it has always worked that way - one person per name.

that way if you have a problem the first name only - will tell the next CM who you talked too.

Did he solve your problems????
