Also thats so exciting that you are training for the half:) I run on the treadmill everyday- i never though of doing a half-- but i bet with enough training i could:) now you are putting ideas into my head to want to try it too:) I hope everything is going good for you:) i bet you are busy planning your 3 trips!! LOL how exciting:)

Right after you posted the D&B bag, I got an email from Disney that they were on the website. I may only be able to afford the wristlet! :rotfl:

That is too cute!
Thanks a bunch for sharing(:

Thanks!! :goodvibes

I was just in WDW and missed a lot of this but I am back. First of all, that is the CUTEST video of Landon! My cousin Nicolette is almost 10 now, I can't believe it... but she used to do the same thing when she was a baby. A tiger was the first animal noise she learned and we had her going "ROARRRR!!!!!!!" all the time. I miss those days.

I also want the Tower of Terror robe so bad! I have for years! I just never wanna drop the $50 to get one but I think I definitely will on our next trip. I love the idea about wearing them on the ride, that is hysterical!

Also.. I totally love you for buying the bride ears even though you don't have a BF. That sounds like something I would do. I haven't yet but I always think "I should buy those in advance!! For good luck!!" I want a Disney Wedding!

How exciting that you have THREE trips coming up! So jealous + I can't wait to read more!!!

Little saying says "ROARRR!!!" is the cutest thing ever. It seriously melts my heart. I really love all his animal noises that he knows!

The ToT robe is fantastic. I'm seriously just aching to get one. I hope you do too. I need a new bathrobe anyway, so that'll be my excuse! I NEED it!

Disney weddings are the way to go!! Haha I have SO MUCH Disney Wedding stuff, its ridiculous! Everyone always makes fun of me for it. Oh well. You should order the brochure and dvd. The dvd is hilarious, its so 90's that the whole thing is pure comedy.

Hey girl! Previously I had just heard about that bag around the board. Its now available online at the Disney store! It's so cute!! I'm getting one asap. Girl, you could TOTALLY do a half! I say go for it! I'm so busy all the time. I just ran twice last week and that was it! I just need to get on it!

Right after you posted the D&B bag, I got an email from Disney that they were on the website. I may only be able to afford the wristlet! :rotfl:

I got that too!! I wish they weren't so expensive. Somehow I will force myself to justify the expense. I WILL find a way!! :rotfl2:

So I missed it over the weekend, but

WE'RE NOW IN DOUBLE DIGITS!!!!!!!!!

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Only 98 days until I am in Disney World! Day plans coming up shortly!!

:banana::cool1::cheer2::banana::cool1::cheer2:

So...DAY PLANS!!
Day One (Tuesday, 8/3)-
-Wake up at 6am
-Have Landon eat breakfast and watch Playhouse Disney with Grammy whenever he gets up (usually between 6am and 7am)
-Have Grammy get Landon ready
-Leave for the airport around 8am (need to figure out exactly what we'll do. Someone's parents will probably drive us.)
-Chill at the airport, probably grab some breakfast
-Depart for Orlando at about a quarter after 10!
-Arrive in MCO right around 4!! :woohoo:
-Hop on Magical Express (my 1st time!) over to Pop Century!
-Check into our room at Pop, just throw any stuff we don't want with us in there (we'll only have carry-on's)
-Take a bus over to MK and then hop on a monorail to the Poly!!
-Explore if we have any extra time (**I have no idea how long ME takes to get to Pop and then a bus takes to MK and then the monorail to the Poly. Does anyone have any clues? Is 3 1/2 hours enough time?**)
-Kona ADR at 7:25pm

Possibilites for the conclusion of this night:
1. I have a very good high school friend who is currently a CM at WDW and he had previously mentioned to me that he could get me some free tickets if I needed. Well, our package comes with tickets and I wanted to upgrade mine to an AP, so one of the possibilities for tonight would be to head over to MK and ride a few rides and watch the fireworks.
2. We could watch the fireworks from the Poly beach
3. We can go home and sleep. I guess it depends on Landon. The fireworks are at 10, which is only 8 our time. I mean, we are most likely watching Wishes the following night and are planning to get up for rope drop too, so I'm thinking it will probably be this last option.

What do you guys think?

3 1/2 hours is plenty of time. Whenever I've taken ME, it's always gone to Pop first (you'll probably be grouped with people going to the All Stars or Carib Beach since its nearby). You'll probably get to Pop by 5-5:30, maybe earlier. From there it should be no problem catching the bus over to MK. Probably won't be any lines at the bus stop and the bus ride is about 15-20 min. Can you tell I've stayed at Pop numerous times? :rotfl:

3 1/2 hours is plenty of time! The Poly is such a beautiful resort exploring it is one of my favorite things to do(:

I think ya'll should watch the fireworks on Poly's beach. Have ya'll done this before? If you haven't, you for sure need to. We watched the fireworks from the beach on our last trip, and our past summer trip and loved it both times

kimmy your first day plans sound great:) I love Kona Cafe!!! I think that watching the fireworks from the poly beach will be awesome!! I might try to do that this year! I hear its amazing watching them from the beach! thats so exciting you are in the single digits:)!!!:cool1: 98 days will go really fast:)

:woohoo: for double digits!!! Can I just reiterate how jealous I am that you'll be in WDW on my bday (August 4th)?!?! Lucky lol

Day 1 plans sound great. I think 3 1/2 hrs is more than enough to get from MCO to Pop to MK to the Poly. Watching Wishes from the beach is amazing and maybe you'll get lucky like me, Chris, Lauren and Jake did! :thumbsup2

Good, I'm glad that it's enough time!! I was a little worried. Now I'm excited for extra Poly time! I'm glad Pop will probably be first for ME too. Otherwise I would just get too anxious! Pop is awesome!! I really do love it there and I picked it over the other values because it doesn't share normal buses! I'm scared to try them though!!

I'm jealous! I am really going to miss going to Disney this summer.

I wish you were going!!

I'm psyched to explore the Poly!! It just seems SO magical!! It's looking like we're going to have to head over to the beach...:woohoo:

Thanks!! I'm VERY excited!! Maybe you will get a surprise since you can't be there on your birthday. :rolleyes1 Man, I wish our trips coincided though!! We are literally DAYS apart and it makes me kinda sad!!

I'm so excited for this first night. I think we'll need to do fireworks so we can start off with a BANG! I hope we get as lucky as you did! That would be AMAZING!!! Seriously, it'd make my life!!

Hooray for Double Digits! :dance3:

I agree that fireworks on the Poly beach are something to think about! We did that last year & it was wonderful! :goodvibes

Scared to try the buses? You've never tried the wonderful Disney buses? You'll be fine. The bus stops at the Pop are much better than other resorts because they're organized. They have a queue rather than just a bench and when the bus comes, its a free for all (ahem, I'm talking about you Wilderness Lodge!). The only times its really crowded is obviously in the morning. You'll be fine! It's standing room only sometimes but it's really not so bad.

Anybody else notice my ticker? EXACTLY THREE MONTHS FROM TODAY I WILL BE HEADING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!! :woohoo: This is an amazing feeling!! I can't wait.

And it's a new week, so you guys need another day update!

Day Two
Today is our first, full day and we're spending it at MK!!
-I will probably wake up first and hope that Landon stays asleep. If not, he just watches cartoons anyway.
-I will get Landon ready as Stephanie and Dustin get ready.
-I'm going to include breakfast time for Landon during this time. I could do fine with a quick snack or even nothing, but it is the biggest meal of his day. Sometimes at home, he'll have a piece of fruit, yogurt, toast, 2 eggs, and then snack off whatever me or my mom have. And I'm pretty sure he has more at his babysitter's too! :rotfl: We are probably going to bring stuff to eat in the room because I'm not going to waste snack credits on it when it won't even fill him up! Any thoughts on if it's better to bring stuff (remember we're flying) or order stuff? What kind of stuff do you guys bring to Pop since they don't have fridges? I'm thinking I'll have to head down to the food court for Landon's milk or juices...I'm scared of caving and buying all the delicious hot food there if I do though!! Thoughts?
-We are going to be at the bus stop by 8. (Is that a good time for all you bus rider's?) (Oh and would it be bad if I told them I wasn't waiting for them if they weren't ready by then and they could just meet me there? :rotfl:)
-Assuming that my friends made it to the park on time with me, we will send whoever is going to be watching Landon to get fast passes for Splash Mountain (it's August...we NEED these) while the other two ride Space Mountain. (I'll tell you now...I'm going to be one of the one's on Space Mountain!!)
-Then we will meet back up in Fantasy Land. I'd like to take Landon on Dumbo again first and It's a Small World since he loved it last time. Then we will see how Landon was feeling. He usually takes a nap 2ish hours after he wakes up. Last year, he was sooooo tired and I just dragged him on to rides when the lines were still short. This year, riding PPF or Pooh will not be more important to me than that!! If he's not sleepy yet, then we will finish up the Fantasy Land rides.
-So we will probably walk around and take turns staying with my sleepyhead and go on all the bigger rides (BTMRR, Splash, Space, etc.). I'm thinking we'll head over to Frontierland most likely.
-As soon as our FP window opens up to get more, we'll either get some for Space or Splash. I guess it depends on how much I like Space and how hot it is!
-When Landon wakes up, I think I'd like to hit up Adventureland. He can go on PotC, the Magic Carpets and Jungle Cruise. What else is over there? I'm hoping we see some princesses, street rats and genies to meet!! Also, the Leaky Tiki's are over there so Landon can play in those to cool off a little too!
-I'd like to also hit up Philharmagic to get out of the heat too!! We skipped it last year! :sad2:
-After that, I'm thinking we'll probably be hungry. (Of course...I'm aware this will be August so we probably won't get all that done before lunchtime, but that's just what we'll at least try...we'll just eat whenever we're hungry and Landon's awake.) I'm thinking Casey's Corner because I just want to try it and I think Landon would like it. Of course, this is always changeable because its a cs and doesn't entirely have to be pre-planned!
-Then we'll go play some more...wherever we want. Use some Splash FP's. Maybe ride on TTA. Whatever. (The little Pooh playground will be closed for the FL refurb. That's the only place where kids can really run around right? Can someone correct me if I'm wrong? Landon would love a place to just run around and get some energy out!)
-Unless Landon takes a good afternoon nap, I will probably take him back to Pop after snacks for a nap so he can stay up and not be grumpy for fireworks and stuff.)
-Snack time will find us back in Adventureland. 5 random points (in my game that I haven't really been doing) for the first 3 people who tell me why.
-Then more whatever. Haha. Whatever we didn't do before lunch. I'm guessing this will be the point where we hit all the gift shops too. Seek out characters, etc. Me and Steph plan on rockin' some sweet princess shirts.
-Around 5 or so, we'll head over to the monorail and take it to the Contemporary! Then we'll explore there a tiny bit before going to check in around 5 or 10 til 6 at THE WAVE for our adr!!
-We'll explore the resort a little more (where can I find those silver Mickey ears that everyone always takes a picture sitting in?) before heading back over to MK for Spectro which will be at 9 and then Wishes will be at 10.
-MK closes at 11 so we'll probably stay until then instead of leaving with everyone after Wishes and just ride a couple of rides while they exit.

How does that sound to everyone? Sorry I got a little chatty for what were supposed to be simple day plans!

Just came to my attention that we are watching the fireworks the night before so if people are too tired/getting grumpy, we're not gonna watch again.

Hooray for Double Digits! :dance3:

I agree that fireworks on the Poly beach are something to think about! We did that last year & it was wonderful! :goodvibes

Yes I'm scared! And now I'm scared for December when I'm staying at the WL!! :scared1: I hope it'll be fine!! How early do we need to be AT the bus stops for park openings?

Day 2 sounds great! I haven't posed with those Mickey Ears at the CR since I was 10 years old, so I have NO idea exactly where they are. I'd like to find them in Sept though!

Day 2 is looking good! I love MK! :lovestruc And no, I don't see a problem leaving if your friends aren't ready yet. :rotfl2: I'm doing the same thing to my people! They don't know it yet though...:rolleyes1 We gave ourself about an hour to get there by park opening so being at the bus stop by 8 should be fine. I figured I'd give you a warning on the WL bus stop! It got a little crazy there in the morning!

Oh the silver mickey ears are by the pool area at CR. Just walk straight out the back of the building, follow signs for the boat going to MK or WL. You'll see them!

day sounds good, im going with dole whips as your snack in adventure land.
