I Can't Do That! I'd Be Too EmBEARassed! A Nov 2015 TR New PTR link 10/13!

I can't say I have ever waited that long for HM.

I am not a stitch fan I rode it once and was like thats it? I do like Laugh floor though.

I have never eaten at the Plaza but have always seen hit or miss reviews and it seems like thats what happened here. That sucks that it was a a miss this time. Even in the picture the burger doesn't look that great.

Great Mine Train photos!

I LOVE hearing the report from someone else..
Even if some of them are LIES!!!

I was pleased that Mo and the Gang loved the show. Or at least they said they did to humor me.

I did it back in 78' and only remember a few. I have been trying to get the kids in there ever since. AS soon as i mentioned Ariana to the kids they were all for it...
They like her a lot...

Mo and the Gang got a very good laugh out of that one!

Umm I did..

My hair smelled like it the rest of the day.

It did...

She was in the direct line of fire and got spit on by Stitch a few times.

1st clue would have been the wet seat. second i was SOAKED!!! I never remember that the first time we did it!

But the kids loved it so I think Mo might have to go again on her next trip.

Never again. I didn't want to do it this time!!! we did it in 2010 and hated it.

I rode with Mo again and she is going to come in here and tell you that I deliberately sabotaged her by jerking the joystick around and making our car go crazy.

Why yes... YES I AM!!!
She cheats people... Don't believe her.. I will elaborate A LOT more once i get to this in my tr....

I'm the weirdo that likes Stitch's Great Escape. Even the chili dog breath. :) This is my trade-off for having to do Hall of Presidents with DH.

Everyone's pictures on Buzz Lightyear look goofy in every TR I've read. They must take it during a really intense part of the ride.

Love your Mine Train night-time fastpass photos! :thumbsup2 We haven't done stitch since 2005 -- where I vowed never to go in there again! Just wayyyy too claustrophobic for me. Our DS wanted to give it a try last year, and we were able to talk him out if it -- thankfully for me :)

I've fallen a bit behind here.... First off - I love hearing about this trip and where you all went when you weren't with us... It's so fun to hear about it...

Here's the requested photo from Frontierland that day - with all of us...

20151116_095008.jpg

I've never ridden Stitch's Great Escape - and I don't plan to. LOL If it's that terrible - I just dont' even want the experience in my memory.

I love CBJ too - I don't normally do it on every trip though... However - it probably would have been good to do this last trip, it would have been warm. :scratchin

I love CHH too... We didn't do it at all on this last trip - it just didn't appeal to me for some reason?

OK - I noticed this too... At 50's PT - you used to get your glass milk shake cup filled to the rim with your shake, then you used to also get the remainder that was left in the mixing cup... Now - you only get the glass milk shake cup... No metal mixing cup. I was soooo disappointed... Not that I NEEDED the extra - but it's so expensive to eat at these places, it's nice to know that you get a bit extra now n' then. :( I wonder if this is a permanent change... Since you experienced it in Nov and I experienced it in Jan? I think it is - and I don't like it at all.

Loving these updates and can't wait to read more! :lovestruc

All aught up. I just love that you spent so much time with Mo and the Gang! I'll bet they were a hoot! So sorry your dinner at the Plaza was a disappointment! Okay, now to head over to the Ari-Ima report to catch up...

Glad you caught CBJ! And I agree 100% on the pictures. I take a crazy amount to document the trip and just so I can go back and stare at them when we get home!

I'm sorry you were forced to endure Stitch! We've never ridden it just because I hear so many awful things about it.

And that's too bad that your Plaza dinner was a disappointment! We have a lunch ADR there is May so I hope things have turned around!

You're the whole reason I ever tried The Plaza restaurant! You had posted some pics of it in one of your TRs and I had to eat there. I was so excited when Mom and I went in November that we were able to get an ADR there even though we had barely any time between when we booked the trip and actually left!

And we even had a seat where we could see the castle out the window.

I sure hope it was a fluke that you didn't enjoy it this time :( I'm planning to go again in December!!!

I am glad that you liked The Plaza. I normally love it so I think it was just an off night. I do love sitting where you can see the castle!

Sounds like such a fun time! I'm sorry you were forced to go on Stitch. The ride is awful as it is, but those shoulder restraints are the WORST!

Sorry your meal was disappointing. Considering you've had such great food there in the past, I hope it was just an off night for them!

Love the Mine Train photos, you look so happy! :)

Stitch is a pretty bad ride but I didn't mind since it was what the kids wanted to do. Didn't really enjoy it but they had fun.

I do think it was just an off night.

Yep, we were having a lot of fun!

The ride pictures and video turned out really cute. :)

I hope your Plaza experience was just a fluke. I've only heard good things about it in the past.

All of my other meals at the Plaza have been wonderful so I think it was just an off night.

I can't say I have ever waited that long for HM.

I am not a stitch fan I rode it once and was like thats it? I do like Laugh floor though.

Great Mine Train photos!

I normally don't wait that long for rides either but everything had long lines so we had to pick something.

Yeah, the Stitch ride is kind of awful but Monster's Inc is a whole lot of fun.

This was the first time it was a miss for me so I'm hoping it was just an off night.

I LOVE hearing the report from someone else..
Even if some of them are LIES!!!

Nope, not a liar! :rotfl:

I did it back in 78' and only remember a few. I have been trying to get the kids in there ever since. AS soon as i mentioned Ariana to the kids they were all for it...
They like her a lot...

Glad I could be a good (or is it bad) influence on them!

Umm I did..

I laughed pretty hard at myself on that one!

It did...

That Chili Dog smell was just the worse! Even worse than the skunk smell on Figment.

1st clue would have been the wet seat. second i was SOAKED!!! I never remember that the first time we did it!

I don't think every seat got wet because none of the rest of us got wet at all. Guess you just drew the short straw on that one.

Never again. I didn't want to do it this time!!! we did it in 2010 and hated it.

Ha! We'll see what the kids say about that!

Why yes... YES I AM!!!
She cheats people... Don't believe her.. I will elaborate A LOT more once i get to this in my tr....

Nope not a cheater! (and the rest of the replies are in the box above because I was too lazy to quote each one).

HOP is both my husband's and my brother's favorite attraction so I've done that one more times than I care to admit. I don't know that the smell would have been so bad if it hadn't stuck in my hair all day long.

It really isn't an intense part and I do know where it is. It's in one of the last rooms where there are no high value targets and your car moves automatically so you are facing the camera. No idea why I always look so focused there!

The Mine Train photos did turn out super cute! Hope you can continue to talk your son out of doing the Stitch ride!

D~

Thank you so much for posting that picture! It would have been so much better if I would have paid attention to where my bag was!

Don't blame you for not doing the Stitch ride. I'm a little weird and have to try everything at least once so I can form my own opinion. Although the first time I rode it, we went in blind not knowing what was coming.

That's true about CBJ. It's great to do on cold or hot days to get warm or get some air conditioning.

I missed it too on our January trip. We did BOG lunch instead because that was what Jim wanted.

Hmmmm, I hope the smaller milk shakes is not a trend.

Love that group picture D~ posted! You all look great (and so do your bags!) :)

It is a good photo but I really needed to turn my bag a little bit!

All aught up. I just love that you spent so much time with Mo and the Gang! I'll bet they were a hoot! So sorry your dinner at the Plaza was a disappointment! Okay, now to head over to the Ari-Ima report to catch up...

It was a big hoot spending time with them. Thanks, I really hope it was just an off night for them.

Oh I never miss CBJ, sometimes catch it more than once a trip. I'm one of those annoying people that can sing every song in the show. I do try to keep it quiet though!

Stitch is not a great ride, that's for sure.

I do hope it was just an off night, I've had wonderful meals there all the other times.

I May Be Crazy but It’s One of My Favorites

Favorite ride that others may call me crazy about? Why “It’s a Small World” of course! IASW has been a favorite of mine since my first visit when I was 2. So it really is a must do for me. And I love to take lots of pictures for all of those who hate the ride. Torturing people can be fun!

The Hippo is probably my favorite thing in the whole ride and I photograph him every time!

I’ve been trying to get a clear photo of these scary guys for several trips now. This is the best I’ve gotten so far.

Suzi, D and Bradey were going to watch Wishes from Fantasyland but I wanted to watch the show from the front of the castle. It was still a little too early to head that way so I checked on Winnie the Pooh but the line was too long. Instead I made my way slowly towards the Hub. I stopped for some castle shots. So pretty with all the lights.

MSEP was still going on so I found a bench on the bridge between Cosmic Rays and the Hub and waited there until I saw the last float pass. Then I followed the crowd out into the Hub and found a spot with this view.

The Hub and all the way down Main Street was wall to wall people. It didn’t bother me but I’m sure some people would have found it a bit claustrophobic.

Celebrate the Magic started and I watched and took lots of photos.

There was a Christmas section added on at the end.

I love that show. And I think I will stop there for today as I took enough Wishes photos to fill several posts.

Up Next: Wishes and Saying Goodbye

Your castle pics are GORGEOUS!! The nice thing about flying solo must have been being able to get a great spot in the midst of all those crowds!!!

You know what... IASW is growing on me... I avoided it for several trips - because I was scared the music would stay with me all day... but I rode it with Suzi and Bradey - and it was fine. So, I made Allison ride it and we were fine. So, I think it's going to become a non-avoid ride now... Not necessarily a "must do" but ...

Love your castle photos - it looks beautiful from the front... We saw it from the Tomorrowland bridge - and that was a great location too. ::yes::

D~

So many good pictures! I really love the projections for celebrate the magic.

I love IASW. too!!! My family? Not so much... :-(

While I do love Celebrate the Magic, Magic, Memories and You is still my favorite. Just standing in that hub with people all around you, everyone wondering if any photos of them or their loved ones would appear. Simply MAGICAL!

Man, I remember when it was first announced that Disney was going to do a show projected onto the castle...it was the strangest thought. What a success it has been!
