do I need anything else. I filled out the online form for a quote, received a quote, and then called my agent and told her that I wanted to book it. She sent me an email itinerary that I had to initial and billed my credit card the deposit. Is that all I should receive for now until I pay my balance? I have always booked directly through Disney and have received that Disney confirmation letter.

I just booked through AAA this morning. I was told the packet arrives at the local AAA office two weeks prior to your departure. I was also told I get my Park Hopper passes when I check in at the GF but that didn't seem right. Can anyone who booked with AAA in the past confirm how they received their park tickets?

All I received was a printed out copy of the reservations/package that included info about our downpayment via credit card. I had to sign and return that. We also had to sign and return a credit card authorization form. That was it for now. I went through a regular TA last time, and I didn't get much more than that until closer to the trip.

Frankiesmom-
That is correct...you just pay it off 45 days prior to your departure date & you'll get your packet a few weeks before you leave. (Mine was at the AAA office, so I had to pick it up...not sure if they mail that out or not.) The only thing I would suggest is keeping your eyes peeled for any kind of specials Disney puts out for your dates. If they offer any deals, do the math & see if it's worth losing your AAA discount. Last year we booked in May for a September trip. In June Disney offered free dining plan for our dates. To take advantage of that, we had to forgo our AAA discount to pay the rack rates, but it was very much worth it!! I just contacted our AAA TA & she took care of changing our reservations.

Docsknotinn-Your TA was correct. Your park tickets are your room keys. You will get them when you check in.

Happy Trips to both of you!

That is correct...you get your ticket, room key and Dining Plan all on one card!!!
I love that Disney did that!!!

Thanks, That was smart of them. One or two less things to carry through the airport and worry about loosing.

Could someone tel me the cancellation policy for a AAA package??

TIA!
Sue

If you paid the $25 AAA seervice fee or bought insuranace neither are refundable. Disney charges a $100 cancellation fee from 44 days to 6 days prior to arrival in addition to the AAA fee. Less that 6 days the cancellation fee is $200 plus the AAA fee and insurance.
