The CM quoted me $329 plus tax for the GF Garden view for those nights on an AP rate, and $384 for the Poly. I am not sure he has done me a good deal. Do you think I should call back? Thanks for your help.

Now...you do realize you can call and cancel the 5th night you don't need, right? All it takes is a phone call but make sure you do it now instead of waiting to make sure it is done 45 days prior to check-in to avoid any change fees.

That doesn't sound correct to me -- if you are definitely sure you don't need the 5th night, I'd cancel now just to be safe.

I'm not sure why there was a price difference at the GF...unless it's a slightly different view or something. Also, are you sure they were giving you the AP rates, or is there a chance you were quoted the current discount available to the general public (which was a few dollars more than the AP rate). Maybe that's the difference.

I'm actually quite surprised that there is any availability at these properties during the holiday weekend (Labor Day).

It will be very busy as it is not only Labor Day weekend, but also Free Dining.

If you prefer GF, as Calypso mentioned there is a general code (DDH on the phone and DDI on line) available for just a few dollars more than the AP rate...sometimes you need to book more days, but then cancel the extra - most CM's will not tell you, but I've had a few who book and modify right then.
