I am now a Believer - Tour Guide Mike

How much does it cost to join TGM and how long do you have access to it before you have to renew. Thanks. My only problem with this is that if a lot of people subscribe it kind of defeats the pupose of it (to have exclusive information). On the other hand it only costs the price of another guide book:)

It costs $21.95 to join TGM. However, I just pulled this code off his site, which allows friends of current subscribers to get $3 off: HE7KD-8GA. So for you, $18.95. :cool1:

You have access until (and someone, PLEASE correct me if I'm wrong :rolleyes1 ) 60 days after you return from your trip, no matter when your trip is. My next one is in 2007, so I have a LONG membership... :flower: You can also get 25% off when you renew your subscription (planning for the NEXT trip... :goodvibes )

As far as your comment about lots of people subscribing and therefore defeating the purpose of the information...there was a discussion about this on the TGM message boards not too long ago. I wish I could find the thread to quote what someone said, but I can't. :confused3 I will say that the gist of it was something like: even if the membership of TGM increased dramatically, there will still be a very small proportion of TGMers at WDW, in relation to the entire crowd size. That, and there are 4 parks and 2 water parks for people to be spread out across. Also, you most likely won't find any TGMers in a park on a red day, which is where a huge portion of non-TGMers will be (that's why it's a red day - too many people; stay away! :earboy2: ). So the chances of too many people following TGM for it to be useful are slim to none.

I'd highly recommend you purchase the AVP. Also, don't forget to visit the message boards too, so that we can all say hello! :wave2:

Following up on that, I read that only a very, very small percentage of WDW visitors use any kind of aide for planning their vacation, be it guide book, website, whatever. Apparently lots of folks don't realize the magnitude of WDW, or don't care to put the effort into planning. So we don't have to worry about TGM overload just yet! :goodvibes
