I am a Disney blasphemer!!

I have to admit that I had a Dole Whip w/ my hubby, and well...

We weren't too happy with it. In fact, it was gross....we just don't like that artificial pineapple taste:scared:

Let's see...I have never been in the theater on Main Street. I have never seen Aladdin and I have never eaten at Carnation Cafe. All things I am dying to do...

We always fight over the pineapple slice in the Dole Whip so now sometimes we just bring a tupperware of pineapple slices, the best snack!

I've never seen Aladdin either. Or been on the Sailing Ship Columbia.

:ssst:

There's other stuff I can't remember..

I've never walked down Main Street, I've only taken the Monorail to Tomorrowland.

I only recently realized that the park and everything is apparently named after this one guy, I always thought the word Disney was a variation of the word fun.

Tigger Tails sound delish, I must have one! I haven't tried one but I love anything with caramel.

We were supposed to go tonight but my lady told me she was going to the movies tonight with firends to see that girlie movie about the sex and the city. I told her have a great time, I'm going ot the mountains to ride my dirt bike!

Wednesday I was in the park and got a good long look at the new Mark 7 monorail, she is a beaut!

WHAAAAAA?????? LOL :)
I much prefer the Whip itself over the float but DBF swears by the float. We get one of each, DD8 and I share the Whip and DBF has the float for himself. He does share some of his juice with me but I can't drink a whole one. It's too strong for me too. :)
Tigger Tails, those are my weakness....and the apple pie caramel apple....Oh Dear Lord! LOL Sooooo good.....if you get a caramel apple be sure to ask them to cut it, they will cut them all except for the Hunny Pot apple, that one makes too much of a mess. :)

Now I do have to agree on the Whip. Much better than the float, IMHO.
But... I just don't get the Tigger Tale weakness. They just weren't my thing.
Now those carmel apples! YUMMERS! Thanks for the tip on getting them to cut them!

Please, do not shoot me!

"My name is Eeyore76, and I must confess, I have never had a Dole Whip. I do not know :confused3 what flavors they come in, or what they taste like."

Commence with the rotten vegetable throwing. :rotfl2:

I had one and wished I'd bought the plain pineapple spear instead. Shh! Don't tell! :)

Do they sell candied apples as well as caramel ones?

The Dole Plantation here on Oahu is 5 minutes from my house and we've only gotten a Dole whip once. We just don't find them to be that special :confused3 I'd much rather blow my calories on a Mickey bar or a churro :thumbsup2

Hey, I had some pineapple ice cream at the Dole Plantation when I was in Oahu and that was delicious.

I have had both the Dole whip and float at DL but prefer the old fashion juicy Pineapple Wedges they sell right next store to the Dole Whip stand.

I'm most looking forward to the fresh pineapple, with the juice being second, and the Whip third... :thumbsup2

You're forgiven.

As someone who has had one in Anaheim, Orlando and at the Dole Plantation on Oahu, pineapple is where it is at.

Now me? I can proudly say that I have never even tasted a churro. ;)

Anywhere! There's just something about a brown extruded snack food product that I just haven't been able to get past all these years.

LOL. How funny! I had never eaten a churro as well, until my DH, (at the time DBF) got me one at Sea World.

It was okay, but I just don't get what the fuss is about! :confused3

All you guys can come visit and drown yourselves w/ Dole Whips while sitting on the beach:cloud9:

If you ever come to Hawaii, bypass the Dole Whip and head straight to Matsumoto's Shave Ice in Haleiwa...now THAT is heaven! Yum

Oh Matsumoto's is the best!!! :thumbsup2 My DH's fave is with sweet red beans and I like the vanilla ice cream at the bottom.

I have to agree on the churro thing. I've had them before, and was expecting DL's to be special, but...:confused3 It was ok. Best churros I ever had was in Spain, where you get a bunch of smaller ones in a saucer with a cup of thick hot chocolate (almost the consistency of warm chocolate pudding) to dip them in! Churros e chocolat --that's their breakfast on the go! YUMMMM!

I had WAY too many Dole Whips last time (didn't like the float, but LOVED the whips).

I do not like Churros in general and have never had a Disneyland one (from what I've heard, probably never will).

I had NEVER HEARD (that's right people--never heard) of a Tigger Tail until finding the DIS and for that I am forever indebted to this board. :rotfl2:

Indiegirl, back and and read the rest of this thread. Somebody asked the same thing, and there's a picture.

I saw that there was a Tigger Tail photo posted on here & I had to post mine!

The Tigger Tail was surprisingly amazing. When I first heard of it, it made my stomach a little qweezy (sp) but now I'm craving it !
