Just returned from our driving visit. Used 77-26-95-I4 route from NC. No major construction slowdowns to report on 95, except general traffic slowdown to posted speeds in mid GA, @ mile markers 70-60 range. However, I-4 has many small projects going on between Daytona and WDW, causing at least 1 lane to be closed in several spots. Lots of night work on the East side of WDW on I-4. The West side of I-4 (towards Tampa) is a disaster, with barriers constant once you get 20 miles outside Orlando.

Note: the most speed enforcement we saw was on I-4. More people pulled in the Orlando area than all of the other roads combined.

Just an FYI.

Thanks for taking the time to post about this - and also about last week's bus service at BWV/BWI. I'm sure that I am not the only one who appreciates the info!

CarolMN,

You are very welcome. Not too much info is updated on I-95 on the boards, so after driving it both ways, I thought it might be useful.

Thanks for your information. We are leaving soon and your information is very helpful.

We got back 11/01 from our drive to WDW and experienced slow down due to construction in NC. However that was our only delay. There were alot of consturction signs up in quite a few states but we only experienced NC actually working that caused a back up. We left on a Friday. We came in on I-4 during mid-day Saturday and had no problems.

Our route did not hit I-95 until SC.

Our I-4 times were Friday lunch, Sunday A.M., and Thursday early A.M., if that helps.
