Yep, it's been there for a long time. I go over and talk to them every once in a while. Snappy (one of the ladies there) and I met up at the WDW Race for the Cure last September. We only got to meet for a few minutes, had planned on getting together with her and 1 other Dis Cancer Survivor for dinner, but her Mom came with her, wasn't feeling well, so we ended up cancelling.

Remember, the word breast is not starred out!:lmao:

Oh, so we are just the bad ones for using a lot of slang and questionable words - I see :snooty: :rotfl2:

So I'm trying to decide whether or not I should put a photo in my siggie or keep putting quotes. Does anyone read my quotes? and if so should I put funny ones, serious ones, motivational, mix them up??

Inquiring minds want to know!

I like the quotes - and yes I always read them. I know that you are the only one in the family that knows how to put toilet paper on the roll, and yesterday you really needed a nap by 8am. :rotfl2: I like the mix :thumbsup2

Oh, and I woke up in a great mood today, so I decided to hit my kids :lmao:

(Alison, please don't change your quote anytime soon so people don't think I am nuts) :rotfl2:

I feel so inadequate. I must be the most unpopular original hyena - my post count is nothing compared to the rest of you :sad2:

I think we should definitely keep an open door policy and invite all who wish to post here :rotfl2: .

That is a crazy statistic - I had no idea that the odds were that high. If it makes you feel better, I am going to end up doing the same thing now (I have that same accountant brain). We do have 14 females that work for us :worried:

Remember those are lifetime odds. As you get older the odds of you getting it increase. What is crazy is that the odds are going up. In the 70's it used to be 1 in 20 or so. Now it's 1 in 7 or 8. Of course the population is aging, so that is going to skew the numbers a bit and we are living longer, so that also skews the numbers. But still that's a huge increase. Some also attribute the increase to better detection and the fact that we are educating women who check for lumps and get more mammograms. So they are obviously finding the cancer earlier, which is a big reason for the increase in survival rates. There are also things you can do to reduce your odds...exercise, low fat diet, breast feed babies, no hormone replacement therapy for menopause, limit alcohol intake. Of course I only did about 18 of the 20 things you should do to improve your odds!!:rotfl2:

Yep! Trust me you don't want to mess with or upset breast cancer survivor's!

Just another drive by Hi!!!

I was able to read this page only.

Alison, that is so cool about your fipple surgery. Hope they look fantastic when all is healed up. :thumbsup2

Well I got done with Kaitlyn's dress, and she loved it. Thank goodness! She graduated last night, and then the family that was here, went out last night afterwards for dinner.

Today 2 swim parties, and then tomorrow a graduation party for about 50 people. We're BBQing terriaki chicken burgers with pineapple and toppings, with sides of sundried tomato pasta, strawberry spinach salad, fruit salad, and 3 different ice cream desserts. One coffee, one oreo, and the last a banana split made up one, that I hope works out. How hard can a graham cracker crust with vanilla ice cream mixed with bananas, topped with strawberries, pineapple and hot fudge and cool whip be? Hopefully it will taste fantastic!!!

I hope after tomorrrow night I can slow down some. Then I can chat more again!

Have a nice day everyone!! :goodvibes

OK, guess I'll leave them. Besides, I always end up finding lots of quotes that make me laugh and it's a good way to start out a day.

Time for lunch. Bye!

Have a good lunch, I need to go grab some lunch also. Be back later!!

Or perhaps....you have a life....and don't have a laptop superglued to your lap every night!:confused3

Alright - can I just get treated now - I breast fed my babies, but that is all I have going for me right now. Do you think the docs would look at me like I was crazy

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: Ok, you eat something yummy for me too.

Alright, time to jump in the shower. My DD could live off of PB&J, and we currently have no PB, J, or even bread to put it on. So I am going to attempt the grocery store with the two little monsters :faint: This should be fun. It is too bad I can't online shop for groceries, then my world would be a happy place :rotfl2:

Really jumping in the shower now, through some seed in the bird feeder, and this is a good way to add an extra post to my count :thumbsup2
