I felt the same way for the longest time, regretted decision for hubby to have his vasectomy and even looked into getting donor from a "bank".

Now that the boys are older, I'm happy with our decision to stop at two. I have a big chunk of time with hubby as just the two of us-- something we didn't have at the beginning of our relationship.

I marvel at my sis having her little miracle boy-- starting all over again with the baby duty. We are 6 years apart, we had our firsts within months of each other -- except I was a young 23 and she was the wiser married 29

I know exactly what you mean. I am looking forward to having some alone time with dh. Its almost like we dont even know each other anymore. We have never been just the 2 of us... EVER. Heck... What I wouldnt give for just a weekend.

I am looking forward to being empty nesters when I am in my early 40s... We will get to do what we havent.. Like date!

One of the pattern books I looked at had a costume section with replica period costumes for the Civil War Era, the Elizabethan era, etc. Gorgeous stuff, I was just in love with that stuff! I can't imagine a Belle costume pattern would be hard to find.

DS7 was up waaaay too late this evening; he disappeared after dinner and I forgot about him as I was DISing and snuggling with DS4. DH came in from his walk and assumed DS7 was already in bed...

So DS wandered downstairs at 9:15 (nearly an hour after his bedtime) and asked for dessert. Ummmm, no! Where the heck were you? (He was hiding in DH's office playing the PSP, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be playing video games.)

So DH warned me to let DS7 sleep in a bit longer tomorrow, which means being on my A Game as far as getting myself ready and pushing the boys a bit more to get out the door. So now that I'm up nearly an hour past MY bedtime...

I booked my room for the Ladies Trip. Now I just need to find a cheap room in Lake Havasu for 4th of July. Well actually July 2nd-7th. DBF's birthday is July 3rd.

I'm also trying to figure out what I want to do this weekend.

GOOD MORNING HYENA'S!!! Today is a wonderful day - I don't have to work (well, at least as of right now I don't)

Wow! Did she mean that there's "nothing wrong with bringing home a Mexican, why are you making such a big deal?" or "you can be gay or with a Mexican, not both"???

Me and Jose aren't great friends, I much prefer my friend Sauza.

And as for my BIL, my SIL definitely meant that she thought a mexican should not be brought home, and especially not a gay one. If you knew my BIL he is a very odd duck, has to be the center of attention and have the world focus on him, and definitely needs to feel special. So this comment pretty much deflated that.

ok, I'm officially tired now and in desperate need of a shower.
Got my cleaning done ... except for the bathrooms.. I HATE cleaning bathrooms.

I will talk hubby into cleaning bathrooms and the boys to do patio window and sweep the patio clean.
You know.. delegate the duties I least like to do

I went to work early for DH and he cleaned my house!!! He vacuumed, mopped, it is spotless (for now)

You sound a little experienced in this matter, Sam. Perhaps you could check out her plant and let her know if it's the real deal?

Or perhaps she could just have a little bonfire!

That won't work though, because our front door is 1/4 mile from the street, it is not like someone could drive by and see it. I hope no one is wandering our property. I had given up being worried about it, but DN is going to be on probation, and they are going to send an officer to check out the house

storms are over for now, power is off and on, DH called, people at the airport were refusing to go underground...(IDIOTS) MAKES ME WANT TO GO KICK CAN BECAUSE OF PUTTING MY HUSBAND IN DANGER....DS CALLED ABOUT 5 MIN AGO...he is ok, the house was damaged badly but he is ok....THANK GOD..he went over there this morning to get some things he needed for work tomorrow.....

I have some damage,,all my trees are shot, it has flooded and you can't get on the main road if you wanted to...Looks like shed was knocked off support..(more like a barn thingie) my basement has flooded...I told DH about it and he said just leave it he is going to get home asap...he is afraid I will get shocked or something i don't know...Could just be because I was crying over not hearing from DS.

So DD, myself and her GF were all down stairs and here i was trying to not get them to freak out and I was in a panic over DS...Both of them...I knew DS #2 was with family and not alone..he was visiting my sister and she had him with her famiy down stairs.

Before the sirens went off I heard something and after sending the girls down stairs I ran to get the last bag of supplies and ran past glass slider and looked out while running and saw neighbors fountain fly past my house....at that point i was running fast...

sorry I freaked out guys, I was just in a panic and I couldn't say much because I didn't want to scare the girls and I had service still, so I just typed my anxiety...I was sitting in basement thinking wow, I think I sounded like a nut

No problem, I am glad you had service to be able to talk to someone - much better then freaking out your kids - just glad you are ok.

Okay guys... If you had my little pudge ball... Would you put her in dance, or gymnastics?

I would probably go with dance. Either would be fine, but I personally just enjoyed dance more as a kid. DD has done just recreational dance (by that I mean one class per week, not that serious, vs. Morgan who takes it totally seriously and Shawna who is the chauffer and financial sponsor.) With DD she has a recital at the end of the year (dance year), gets a cute little outfit and does some sort of foo foo dance.

It is really good! I totally, wholeheartedly recommend it!

Honestly, I think I would be okay just giving up. KWIM? We are doing so well financially, and finally having a break in changing diapers for the first time in 6 and a half years... We can afford vacations, and to do nice things for our kids.. They are getting older, and we can do more stuff with them... We just seem to be hitting our stride, KWIM?

I dont know.. I just keep think that this was a sign. We just werent meant for more then 2 kids. It took a while to get pregnant, then to lose it... I cant do that again.

I guess I never got to the point that I was ready. We had a couple serious scares with DS4's pregnancy, and DH adamantly said two was it. I agreed that I'd be very scared to try for a third, so he got snipped.

I still feel like I missed out though. Maybe it doesn't make sense, but I always pictured myself having a daughter, and it's just not going to happen.

I am a bit concerned, I have just a few more months of bc and I don't know what we are going to do. We are kind of on the we see both sides kind of thing - so I dunno

GOOD MORNING HYENAS

I went to the dermatologist again this morning. He removed 2 more stitches on my leg but had to leave the one stitch in the center. He said it needs more time to heal and to continue applying the hydrogen peroxide and polysporin to it each day. He also gave me some antibiotics and told me to take them. Not sure why since I'm not in pain or anything. I have to go back next week. Hopefully the center will have closed by then and I can have that last stitch removed. The rest of it has really healed. It looks much better without that horrid bump/scar.

My co-worker was joking with me because she thinks I have to go there because my Dr is handsome. He's really tall and he's not bad looking but his voice reminds me a bit of Kermit the Frog.
