Huh, I missed this story, what happened to your leg???

:goodvibes I like I like!!!

Thanks! I remember you wanted to see her sig :D

In regards to my leg, I had a benign scar tumor. It was a small brown bump on my leg from years ago. I hit my leg on something and it left that bump. It didn't hurt but my regular doctor said that it looked a bit odd and referred me to the dermatologist in their building.

I had a free consultation and he told me that it was benign but if I wanted to have it removed they could perform a small surgery. You basically are trading in the bump for a line (scar), but it fades over time.

I decided to have it removed. The scar tumor was circular shaped but he had to cut a leaf shape to remove it. Then he put in the stitches so that it would heal in a straight line. It doesn't hurt and the procedure didn't hurt. It's just nice to have had it removed. My insurance covered it too which was really cool. :thumbsup2

I just ordered more pins - so my Jungle Cruise set is complete.

I also got these for DH- he loves stitch too, and then I get the pin in my siggie :cool1:

I only have one complete set and I got them all by trading. I gotthe pirate Mickey about a year ago and I found all the others during the Ladies Trip Weekend.

The hardest one to find was Donald and my mom actually found it as we were about to leave on Sunday evening.

Hi Girls! Just a quick stop by to say hello. Had to hop on the internet to look up a deposit (stupid me forgot to make a copy of the deposit slip & checks and have no idea what it was). It was an $18K deposit, so a little large to be throwing into my Cash Over/Short category!:lmao: Thank goodness for online-banking!:thumbsup2 Luckily I have initials for everything, so I had listed the initials on the deposit slip.

So did I mention that my fipple surgery got moved up? Now instead of the 24th it will be on the 18th! Just a day surgery, in and out the same day. Will be having the Fipple created and reopening a couple of inches of the abdominal wound that didn't heal good to redo it and make it look prettier. That is if you can call a 22 inch scar pretty.:lmao: But right now it looks like I have 2 belly buttons, my new one and one down lower, so might as well get it fixed right. Don't want to be having too many of some body parts and not enough of others.:scared1: It's funny but at this point I feel like a Transformer or something. What can we move around to make it into something else, any extras need to be chopped off, need an extra nose..not a problem we can make one out of your funny bone.

Anyhow, so glad to hear that Gina's family is ok.

You so need to go to a WDW resort. For the past couple of years Stitch has been the wake up call. I can't begin to tell you how annoying it is to wake up to that screaming voice! Mickey was so much better to wake up to.

:thumbsup2 DH decided our last trip he wanted to start buying pins. Then we were there in January for the 1st day of a 6 month series. Pix suggested I could get the rest on ebay - and boy was it a mistake telling DH that :lmao: We plan to try to trade when we are there next - we have quite a few duplicates we got for super cheap :cool1:

Good luck on the surgery and the new fipple :goodvibes And we love you anyways irregardless of extra/missing parts

Thanks! You know I am still amazed by what they can do. Here's a photo of a reconstruction similar to mine. This was a Foob made by moving the stomach area up and then creating a Fipple and then tattooing. It's amazingly real looking isn't it. I still have more scars on mine, but they will fade over time.

I'll just leave this up for a minute if anyone wants to look at it. Don't want the DIS Gods after me!

Link removed to appease the Dis Gods!!

Alright, I will let DH know :thumbsup2

My sister gets all of their pins of Ebay also. I wonder if you got WDW pins instead of DL pins if they would be more valuable/tradeable at DL and vice versa??

Thanks Dizzy, it's always nice to know that I'm loved no matter how many belly buttons I have!:lmao:

I can't get the page to load - but I am sure I will still hear it from DH as to why I was looking at pics of fipples.

So I noticed today on the CB that there is breast cancer survivor thread - how can they post on these boards - I would think half the conversation would be **** **** ***** ***** ******* *********

Never thought about that - we haven't actually tried to trade yet - maybe October - I need to book that just in case.

Wow, it really looks natural.

:furious: The ladies in my office are talking about Pit Bulls and how dangerous they are. I hate when I hear talk like this. :( Pits are the only kind of dog I have owned (well except the Maltese, but she's DBF's grandma's so we got stuck with her). I think they are the best breed. Any dog can be mean if it's not raised right.

I know this is kind of a weird thought, but you know that 1 in 7 women will get breast cancer at some point in their lives. I often think that means that odds are one of the other Hyenas will also get breast cancer. I know it's not a good thought and why it crosses my mind I don't know, but it does. Same thing when I'm out and about and see a group of ladies together. I'm always thinking I wonder which one out of that group will get breast cancer. When we were at Qwest Field for the Supercross and they said that the seating capacity was 72,000, I looked around and thought that means that if this stadium was filled with women over 10,000 of them will get breast cancer someday. Maybe it's just my accountant side of me always trying to divide and organize things from concept into numbers. Anyway, hopefully I haven't bummed everyone out today!:bitelip:

Yep, it's been there for a long time. I go over and talk to them every once in a while. Snappy (one of the ladies there) and I met up at the WDW Race for the Cure last September. We only got to meet for a few minutes, had planned on getting together with her and 1 other Dis Cancer Survivor for dinner, but her Mom came with her, wasn't feeling well, so we ended up cancelling.

Remember, the word breast is not starred out!:lmao:

I buy mystery lots on eBay for around $2 per pin to use as traders. In the last lot I bought I ended up keeping a few of the pins.

I think we should definitely keep an open door policy and invite all who wish to post here :rotfl2: .

That is a crazy statistic - I had no idea that the odds were that high. If it makes you feel better, I am going to end up doing the same thing now (I have that same accountant brain). We do have 14 females that work for us :worried:
