I am trying to finalize park plans before our LL purchase date next week, and I am still deciding between going to Hollywood Studios or Epcot on Monday 10/7. Some sites indicate that will be a "lower" attendance date for HWS, while others say Monday is typically a crowded day there. Also, I just saw that Epcot has EEH on Monday 10/7. We are not staying at a deluxe, so I am concerned about influx of crowds for fireworks show and/or getting a last minute ride. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

ETA - We plan to go to each park, and our other days are "set", so HWS and Epcot will be Monday/Wednesday for us.

We'd probably do DHS on Mon. I feel like DHS always feels crowded, so I think you'll get more bang for your buck on a slower Wed Epcot day. I also wouldn't want to be at a park that has extra hrs or an event for a group that I'm not part of as I feel it brings more crowds for the overlapping or late afternoon/evening time before deluxe hrs start.

That's what I was thinking, too. Thanks for the input!

I have NO idea how any 3rd party can estimate how many people will be at a specific Disney park some date in the future. It seems more like a guess than anything else. What data are they using to make such predictions? Even Disney has no idea how many locals with AP's will suddenly decide to show up on any given day. If there is some special event planned for the evening, there also seems to be mixed opinions on here on how that impacts park traffic during the day. When we were last at Disney, it was some day in the middle of the week and AK was wall-to-wall people in some places making it nearly impossible to walk around. We left to go to a different park which wasn't nearly as crowded.

Choose the park you like better and if you have park hopper tickets can always go somewhere else if it seems too crowded.
