Just an observation about people who dont take time days in advance to find lodging,, currently all hotel rooms in our area, and for the distance south along the route we live on,, are full. there are over 800 already in shelters set up in the last large town in la,along this route, and the folks there are saying the nearest hotel rooms are over in long veiw texas, and dallas...and this is right at the ark la line, my observation is, why do these people wait? and then just drive along hoping to luck into a room somewhere? i know that friday, the forecast said south la, and i started watching th e track to set up our week , now there are people righth ere in town, that are justr driving, hoping to find a place to sleep , that had to know at least as early as i did, and could have made one or two calls, found a room, made reservations and been able to t ell family etc where they were goingto be. these people that just take off and drive have families thaat may not know till after the storm where they are or if they even got out. how do people ignore the obvious and not make preperations ahead of time?
