Hurricane Dennis

Well it looks like I'm going to get at least part of this storm, and for some strange reason, I'm looking forward to it. I'm in a "bring it on" mentality. I don't care if we get the eye or not, I'm basically going to be sitting in a concrete block. So like I said, bring it on.

Anybody else going to get hit by this beast of a storm?

Well a hurricane is like that.

The guy on the weather channel just said that the eastern semi-circle of a hurricane gets the worst weather. I'm in the Ft. Lauderdale area, wich by the looks of it, will either get the eye, or the mid-eastern-semi-circle of the storm. This is going to be great until our roof flys off. Then it will be wicked.

Lucky you down there, you get the bad parts of the storm. Once they get up here to me...they're nothing

Two things....

Sence I live in MI full time, with the exception of the summer, I don't get hurricanes.

Second of all, your waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up in the northeast, so I hope they would be weak by the time they get up there.

I hope it doesn't hit us. I live in Tampa and we got hit bad by both Francis and Jeanne. We were out of power for over a week and things aren't looking any better this time.

Hey! I hope we don't get hit to hard by Dennis because i live in Fort Lauderdale. It seems we aren't going to get that much of the storm because we haven't been put under any watches or warnings yet it's only like the keys and maybe some parts of the Golden beach. I am hoping it's just going to be heavy rain. I went through the hurricanes last year aswell, including charlie in which we were staying at Disney World. I have to say staying at WDW during a hurricane was alot better than sitting home! The electric never went out and it was fun seeing the other guests running around in the storm and video taping it from outside of their room at Pop Century!

Charlie hit us the worst. It was a quick storm if it had stayed any longer it would have ripped our roof of. I went to Atlanta for Frances and it ended up not as bad. Jeane we stayed put and it was fine. No MORE HURRICANES!

everyone be safe and hopefully all you guys will get will be the rain .... luckily, i live near pittsburgh so i dont have to worry 'bout hurricanes. although, our whole viewing area and beyond were flodded and destroyed by hurricane ivan last september. the Ohio river goes right through my town...and well...you get the picture. it was also bad because we have like a million streams, creeks, ponds, and lakes around here, so everywhere you looked, it was extremely over flooded. luckily, we live in the higher elevation of my town. *sigh of relief* i really didnt mind it though, because we had no school for like a week and a half. (woot woot!) thats what good we got outta it.

see, now here, we get all of Ohio's tornadoes, so thats what we are always looking out for.

I live in Michigan so I won't get hit with anything that bad. But my grandma lives in Punta Gorda, Fl. (its right on the coast) and so do my Aunt and Uncle. Well last year they all got hit with it right on and they are right in the eye of it again. They lost their homes last year and they were made to evacuate again just a couple days ago. So I would like the storms to stop!

I live in New Hamshire so I have never been in a really bad huricane
