We're heading down Friday and not planning on cancelling yet, unless the airline does it for us.

Weather Waiver for Hurricane Wilma
Updated 10/19/05 - 5:00 p.m. CDT
Northwest Airlines has issued a weather waiver to assist customers whose travel plans may be impacted by Hurricane Wilma. This waiver applies to passengers with confirmed tickets issued on/before October 19, 2005 for travel October 19 through October 23, 2005 to, from or through the following cities:
Florida
Fort Lauderdale (FLL)
Fort Myers (RSW)
Key West (EYW)
Miami (MIA)
Orlando (MCO)
Tampa (TPA)
West Palm Beach (PBI)
Mexico
Cancun (CUN)
Passengers may reschedule their travel to be completed on or before November 12, 2005 to/from the same origin and destination without penalty or administrative change fees, subject to availability.
You'll notice, Orlando is listed. We are flying down Friday afternoon and may try to reconfirm on an earlier flight if that seems necessary or extend our trip if we lose too many days for weather. I also have family living in Orlando in the event of any problems. I think I may pack a flashlight/batteries and some extra cash, just in case. Hopefully we'll have a better sense of the storm track soon, so people can really make informed decisions. But, I'm not ready to dump a $3000+ vacation that I can't get back until I know more information.
