Hunrgy Bear Re-Opens with new menu.

I just read this in the other Hungry Bear thread! I LOVE sweet potato fries even if I'm not big on burgers. Might be worth a try. That mini blueberry pie looks great!

The salad does look yummy, but I don't know about watermelon on a chicken salad. Sounds runny.

I DO like the look of those cupcakes! I'm not a big chocolate fan, so I love when they offer something different!

Wow! I think I may have to eat there on the next trip. I must admit that, other than the nice location, there was nothing that really drew me to that restaurant. Now I am going to make a (pardon the pun) beeline for that Hunny Lemon cupcake and the chicken sandwich! The salad looks great too.

I am glad that Disney is revamping some of the menus and giving more options. I can not wait to try it on my next trip!

Looks yummy! This is definitely not something you want to look at when you just started a diet, already had your lunch... and are STILL hungry!

I'm glad they got a new menu...love the venue: great theming, plenty of seating, view of ROA, but the old menu was kind of "blah" so I haven't had an actual meal there (sharing a side of fries with the ducks doesn't count ) in years. The sandwiches/burgers sound interesting, I love sweet potato fries & those bee cupcakes are super-cute. I'll definitely have a meal or 2 there on my next trip.

this continues the trend in why I actually prefer DLR dining to WDW dining.....great counter service options coupled with Al Fresco dining !

The new menu sounds soo good to me! I can't wait to try the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich, the sweet potato fries and the pie. Oh and the cupcake. Guess I'll just have to take one of everything!

I LOVE sweet potato fries! I also want details on that fried green tomato sandwich. Wow another list of stuff I must eat at DL! I don't think there is a thing on that new menu that I wouldn't at least try once. The salad looks good I too am not sure about the watermelon but you never know. The chicken sandwich sounds up my alley too and I need that cupcake I can almost taste that little chocolate bee melting on my tounge!

I can't wait for people to get back with real reviews on this stuff!

One of the best salads I've ever had in my life was at a restaurant here in San Diego that featured spinach, watermelon, cucumbers, pine nuts, feta cheese, tomatoes, and a light balsamic vinaigrette. It was so light and fresh! I make it at home in the summer.

So excited by the new menu. It was never one of my favorites to eat at but we would sit by the water and eat our snacks and take a little rest.

I can't wait to try the fried green tomato sandwich and sweet potato fries. The lemon cupcake also looks yummy.

Maybe I can talk my daughter into eating there when we go for her birthday.

Here's what they had to say about the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich " a yummy fried green tomato sandwich with jicama-mango slaw (an insider fave)" (they have a photo on the blog too).

The turkey and provolone on a multi-grain roll with basil mayo & a crisp slaw on the side sounds pretty good too. I have a feeling we'll be eating here more than once!
