Hunrgy Bear Re-Opens with new menu.

Love sweet potato fries and those sandwiches sound delish too (except for fried green tomatoes, even fried I don't think I can get past the fresh tomato taste). And I want that cupcake, mostly because it looks tasty and a little because I have a thing for bees since my name means honey bee! However, it looks like the cupcake costs $4.49 or something close - seems a bit steep even for DL prices. Still sounds something to try especially since the location sounds great to grab some food - now to figure out which place to move down the list so HB can be added?!

We missed the new menu/ reopening by a day

Can't wait to try the new salad at the end of May. But, on this trip I did get to try the new salad that came with the Village Haus menu revamp and it is definitely a new fave!

I hope they didn't change the restroom during the rehab......I love that potty.

I HATE that potty! There is only one handicapped stall, it is right in front (which means it is the first one people stop at), and there is ALWAYS someone changing clothes after riding Splash in there!

Seriously, people, don't be surprised you got wet on Splash mountain and don't take up the ONLY handicapped stall on that side of the park (next closest is NOSq) to change clothes when you do get wet!

Looking forward to trying out the new menu. Kind of hope the desserts are pricey... if they are as good as they look, I don't want to be eating them too often

One of our favorite things to do is to visit the kitties (OK.... one of my favorite things, DH & DS come along to humor me). Always enjoy seeing the live critters that hang around the Parks.

For reference, when they reopened Village Haus after its refurb and new menu, they added two new dessert items: Black Forest Cupcake and Apple Strudel. They are each priced at $4.99. I would expect the same prices for the Hungry Bear desserts.

It's pricey...the cupcake alone is over four dollars and the salad I believe I heard was something like $15

You have to scroll down through about half the page to get to the Hungry Bear stuff. And, yep, the desserts are $4.99 each. The new salad is listed at $8.49. The new chili cheeseburger is $10.19. The sandwiches range from $8.19-$8.69 depending on type.
