My son is 9 and 54 inches. I see the height requirement for these is 54 in and he is that but I am thinking, wow is that big enough? Anyone here have a 9 year old that did them? He wants to do them but I am nervous about him fitting in the seat.:scared1:

If he is the hieght requirement then he will be ok cause the harness system is good strong tight fit :thumbsup2

i agree. the thing is can he handle it? the first time we went we went with another family and their 9 yr old was 55 inches but was too scared for the big stuff.

he will fit fine and he will love it. have fun.

Yup...once you're stapped in, you aren't going anywhere. He should have a great time!

Let's put it this way:

Have you ever been to Disney World?

If yes, great!

Has he been on Rock 'n' Roller Coaster?

If yes, did he like it?

THEN GREAT!!

Hulk is a lean, green, outdoor verison of RnR, but with a few more inversions. Same takeoff, too (4 or 5 G's).

On a trip with my 9 year old nephew back in 2006 we talked him into riding
the hulk, mind you that he has never rode any type of coaster, well luckly
we were staying on site , there is know way he would have rode if he had to wait. We were up the stairs and boarding in 5 mins. now we are strap down and ready, he very nervous as we start to go up the launch tube(its a lot steeper than it looks) as we get mid tube he starts screaming,
help me moma !! help me Jesus!!!( Yes he coined that phrase before ricky bobby). I have never laughed so hard on a ride, I thought I was going to choke. Just remembering that , makes me laugh. Anyway after his near death
experince he rode over and over again, Its one of his favorites.

From my experience the centrifugal force on these rides is so great the harness is almost redundant. Your kid is going to be 100% A-OK ;)

We are a very tall family. My nephew rode the Hulk and DD when he was seven and he loved them. It's an individul thing. I know some adults who can't handle these rides.

Rotm is my favorite only 2nd to spiderman and last year my oldest DS said he would never ride it but goated him until he gave in and rode it with me and now thats all he talks about wanting to ride it as much as he can and I think its time to shame him into riding the hulk :lmao: :lmao:

INEED SOMEONE TO TAKE MY MIND OFF OF HEIGHTS.Try Shekra @ BG Tampa..........

I just rode Dueling for the first time the other day, it was fun. My only advice is to keep your head back and not let it bob around too much, my head hurt so much after riding it (I had my head back the whole time but it bobbed around due to gravity). Also, Hulk was amazing.

Which dragon did you prefer? My favorite is Pyrrock (Fire dragon). :thumbsup2

Bubba was exactly 54" when he was 7....he had no trouble getting on and riding over and over and over and over......

The good thing about the measuring stick at Hulk is that it is attached to the wall....NO mistaking his height (unlike the 'handheld' sticks)
