Hug me...been sick.

Started Thursday around midnight, and I pretty much stayed in the bathroom all night... ...I'm feeling a bit better today but still on edge. Haven't been able to eat anything much but I've been drinking a lot of Gatorade and water.

Last night I also had a fever (101.7) but I took some Tylenol and went to sleep, telling myself I'd go to the Dr. today if it got worse...today the fever is gone but I have major heartburn...probably due to you-know-what.

I am convinced it is food poisoning...I had some shrimp at a restaurant on Tuesday evening that just didn't taste quite right...a little more than 24 hours later the fun began!!!

Anyway, if you're still reading, I guess my message is don't eat anything that tastes 'kinda funny,' you might really regret it.

Any other sickies out there need a ?

Hey, you can join the club. My son and I both had that two weeks ago. It may be FP but this bug is everywhere and it sure sounds like what we had.

I had been meaning to start a diet and it was a great jump start as I lost 5 pounds in a week. Not recommended as a diet tool but the weight has stayed off and I've even dropped 2 more pounds.

It's just been the past couple of days that I've been able to eat normally but I'm still very tired a lot of the time.

That made me laugh, I was actually thinking if something good comes of this, maybe that would be it! I can't watch anything on TV with food...what worse, the evening befor ethis happened I had watched that Top Chef marathon...really not a good thing to think about right now!!

I feel your pain! I had the stomache flu that led to a migraine and sinus infection. My roommate had the call the ambulence at 3am on Tuesday morning because my head was hurting so badly. I ended up in the ER again later that night because I was still throwing up and my head hurt. All I have to say is thank goodness I live close enough to home that my mom could come get me and bring me home. I don't think I would have survived the week without her. I'm finally starting to feeling human again today! to anyone who has had this bug or who is going to get it, it sure it nasty!

I had it last weekend and was doing to DIS about it at 2am to see if anyone was up since I couldn't sleep but was unable to get up off the bathroom floor. DH brought my pillow in and I stayed in there for 2 hours. It is just so gross.

I hope you get better soon! I got mine very late Saturday night and didn't eat anything substantial until Tuesday morning.
