can't wait to see what the next couple of months bring.

I think he will be the eventual VP candidate behind McCain.
I am NOT a Huckabee supporter at all. I have quite a few reasons why.
For those for sure supporting him, what do you like about him? I know he is a former minister, but as a Christian I don't want that to be the only reason I vote for him..
He's a fairly extreme social conservative with a populist fiscal policy and a dovish foreign policy outlook. Pretty much the exact opposite of what I look for in a candidate. (although I'd easily vote for a social conservative if the candidate is conservative on fiscal and national security issues)
My cousin was an early supporter of Huckabee's and back in November, I went to a fundraiser he hosted. I went, somewhat out of curiosty but also to be supportive of my cousin, who has been supportive of a number of my "causes".
I've been to a lot of political events in my lifetime. Worked on a lot of campaigns for the GOP. This one was more like a church tent revival than a political fundraiser. I've never seen anything remotely like it.
A certain segment of our population has been driven nearly insane by their perceptions of President Bush wearing his religion on his sleeve. A President Huckabee would absolutely send them over the cliff. They'd be begging for the good ole days of George W.

bsnyder good observation, you know thats sad, is the 3 conservative groups Regan brought together , religious, defense and economics is going to split this election, that means republicans loose. It seems to me the only candidates that represent all 3 are Romney and Thompson and there not winning
And as gleeful as the Dems are at this prospect, it's an extreme long shot that Huckabee can actually win the nomination.
I But I think the only one who has the potential to split the coalition is Huckabee.
and why being a value voters, bother voting for Gullinaan (pro abortion and gay marrage)
Rudy's position is that personally he is agaisnt both, but does not believe it is the governments right to decide what is best/moral etc for others.

and why being a value voters, bother voting for Gullinaan (pro abortion and gay marrage) or McCain, who would agree to any list Biden gives him for judges to make himself look good
