I remember reading that you can now get from a park to DS beginning at 4. I was just wondering peoples experiences. I know it's not like they'll be there right on the dot, but how early (or late) have people seen the buses from parks to DS?

I'm curious because we have a 4:30 booked at DS, and we'll be at HS in the afternoon. Just wondering whether to get to the bus stop maybe about 3:40 ish or if it'd be better to not chance it (wouldn't have enough time if it gets there much after 4) and go to a resort to head there.

I know there is no way to tell exactly what will happen that given day. Just curious if people have seen DS buses at the park stop early on a regular basis.

It is suggested to allow 1 hour typically

I’d start to head out of park around 3 pm. You can always find something to kill time @DS

If you’re trying to prolong park time, can try to move the ADR back

But in this situation, leaving at 3 won't make a difference. The bus won't come until at least 4. No extra time to explore around DS.

I'd head over to the Swolphin around 3:30 and catch the bus. Or Lyft/Über.

Didn’t catch the bus to DS doesn’t start till 4 pm duh.

As for boat, we were home @ BW in July & went into MGM several days in the AM for new attractions. Not uncommon for the line to build heading back to resort. After 2nd time of not getting on until the 3rd boat during late am, we took to driving over. It was the first full week of TS there, things may have settled down. Still, the OP would then still have to allow time to catch a bus @ Dolphin.

As you mentioned, Uber or taxi is probably their best option as it sounds as though the OP doesn’t have a rental car.

Bus to SSR might be a dark horse option, as there are so many stops, but it does run all day. Can’t say i’ve Used it when staying there, always drove. Would still need to allow time to walk/boat over to DTD.

First bus leaves right at 4. In January, my cousin and I decided to head to DS from DHS and since it was just before 4, we decided to take the direct bus instead of going via a resort. We saw the bus waiting and got on to standing room only. The clock just turned to 3:59 as we got on. At 4 pm, the driver got a call that he was good to head to DS.
