HS park hours vs last show time

Looking at Touringplan and trying to plan my May trip.
curious why if HS is open until 9, the last show time is 6 for Indiana Jones and Muppets 3D?
from experience, is this correct?

That does sound correct. Sunset is about 8:00 PM in May, and I do not think they do Indiana Jones in the dark.

Can't really explain the Muppets, but I can see it closing earlier. Figment closes at 7:00, but Epcot is open until 9:00.

That is correct. Indiana Jones only runs in full daylight so the cutoff is typically fairly early compared to other attractions. Beauty and the Beast has a similar early close, and Jedi Training as well.

Muppet Vision started running with reduced hours last October.

Show times don't go past 6 for much in my experience (been in May the last 3 years). The Muppets along with a couple of attractions in Epcot (Journey into the Imagination and something else) are now closing well before park close as their regular operating schedule.

Yes its correct.
Some attractions don't run the entire time the park is open.
Take Figment at Epcot as another example. It closes at 7pm.

I didn't realize that about Figment........but then again its not really on my "must do" list!
