How do you feel about Howard Stern's radio show?

I've been a big Stern fan for years and I'm in Pittsburgh, one of the six cities he was pulled from. I'm resigned to reading recaps of the show in the afternoon!

Love it! That doesn't mean that I go out and act out everything that I hear on there. It's always nice to add a disclaimer for the moral outrage that will follow.

I haven't had as much time to listen though, cause I swim in the morning.

I think Howard Stern teeters between a comic genius and an overgrown 14 year old boy pretty much every day. I take what I like from the show, and tune out the rest. And thankfully, he is alive and well here in D.C. - I listen to him just about every morning.

I am not a fan of his.

I have listened to his show, and it can be really funny at times, but a lot of the time I'm just not interested in it.

He grosses me out! Not in the "I can't believe he just said that" way, but the "that guy gives me the creeps" kinda gross!

It's early in the poll, but I'm surprised at how many DISers like it. But I'm not surprised that most who don't have never seen the movie.

I use to be a big Stern fan, not so much anymore. No reason really, I just stopped listening and now have no desire to. I have the Private Parts movie and Butt Bongo Fiesta (can I say that) and I have Crucified by the FCC. I've met Gary and Stuttering John and we saw Howard at his book signing on stage having fun with Jay Leno in Philly but didn't get our book signed. He left before we got our turn. When I say the line was around a couple of blocks I'm not exaggerating at all. DH is still a fan and listens everyday. I do have a signed copy of Miss America, a friend got that for me.

I've seen the movie but don't listen to the show that much. I always have kids with me. DH is a huge fan, me not so much. I think he is very funny when he keeps it clean but the porn stuff is just too much. It's too bad he can't just do the funny entertainment type stuff because it seems to me most people don't care about the porn talk.

Howard is a tremendous talent. It's not for everyone, but he is brilliant at what he does. I can also respect that people don't like it or feel it is appropriate for their families. Perhaps satellite radio is the best place for him.

I love Howard, his show and his Private Parts movie.
I think people get way too nuts about him. If you don't like him or what he is saying...here's a tip: DON'T LISTEN!

I used to listen to a particular Cleveland radio station religiously on my drive to work. That is until they replaced the drive time DJs with the Howard Stern show. Since that day, I rarely listen to that radio station anymore. And I never listen to it during my morning commute.

Don't get me wrong. Howard Stern can be funny, but I'm just not into shock jocks at this stage in my life.

I have always liked him. If he gets too gross, I just don't listen. I think he's funny most of the time.

Well I only have a 10 minute commute, but I like when he does celebrity interviews. Other stuff - I just change the channel. I think it is amusing how he pokes fun at himself.
