Last time I flew to WDW was April 2004. I noticed when we got home that one of my pieces of luggage had been damaged. Nothing major but the luggage emblem (metal) was completely gone. I took the bag to the AirTran desk at the airport and showed it to them. The man behind the counter said he could issue me a credit of $25 to be used on my next flight. That was acceptabel to me.
Never did he mention that I would have to fly within the year to get the credit.
So, the past couple of times we've been to WDW, I've driven.
This June, we will be flying again.
I called the airlines and reminded them of my $25 credit. The gentleman I spoke to said my credit had expired!
Should credits given for damaged goods be given an expiration date?
I think I should have just asked for them to mail me a check!
Would you be a little ticked with the airline?

I can't believe this one! I'm a good one for sending letters or e-mails when dissatisfied with something. The day I first posted this I sent an e-mail off to AirTran. I thought when I sent it I would never hear from them again! I just read my e-mail and there was a response from them! They are going to upgrade me to business seats for my and DS's June trip to WDW!!! Wow, I've never flown business class!
