How will the hurricane affect CM's getting back to work?

Obviously the 1st priority for the CM is to stay safe & clean up after their loss (hopefully it will be minimal). Will they be able to get back to work by Tues? I am being selfish here. We're coming in tomorrow & will be hitting MK on Tues & I'm wondering if they will have a full crew to be able to do shows, parades, etc. I am just not sure if I should postpone or go.
My thoughts are with you CM's (Liberty Belle, Eric, Samarilla & others!!). I hope you are spared mean Jeanne's wrath!!

Absolutely go. Based on how the storm is progressing (currently only a Tropical Storm) and the fact that they are requesting third shift to come in tonight, everything will be back to normal by Tuesday. The mandatory curfew is only in effect until 5 pm today. Come enjoy your vacation!

Sorry for slaughtering your name Samirella!!
We'll see you there on Tuesday!!

No problem!

By tuesday, most everything should be back to normal. Some of the outdoor food and/or merchandise carts may not be open, but most everything else should be fine.

Curfew was extended until 6:00 am Monday.
How many CMs are on hand to ride out the storm at WDW?
I hope everyone fared as well as can be ecpected.

I think the ride out crews' size varies according to where they are. I worked at DTD last night, and once again stayed late to prep for the storm. Two out of three and I only moved here in mid-July! I'm almost ready to trade these in for the blizzards we were getting back in PA! :p

I would guess that they will open as much as possible. Not sure about DAK, but the others should open, maybe a little later than normal since the curfew was extended to tomorrow morning. When I worked the day after Charley, my shop in DTD was closed, but those of us who did show up were sent to other places to fill in spots (so I got to work in Disney at Home with my trainer, a couple of CMS who normally work there, and someone from Goofy's Candy Co).

Enjoy your trip, Erin in CT!

Erin, are you flying out of BWI? We're flying out (hopefully) Tuesday morning and I am sure hoping that MCO will open tomorrow as expected. We were at BWI tonight picking up my in-laws, who will be watching our kids while my DH and I have our trip to WDW.
