How will a NWA strike effect other airlines??

Just wondering if other airlines will not cross picket lines and be disrupted themselves?

I don't think anyone expects any "sympathy strikes"

However, if they strike expect that NW will write passengers over to the other airlines so planes that were already FULL will be OVERSOLD and lines will be longer. Arrive early if you are flying out of a city with a large NW presence even if you are on another airline.
