How was that first semester of College 2020?

Not my child but I had a fall class for my MBA and it was perfectly fine. No different than any of the classes I've taken online.

Of course it was, my daughter took a statistics class over the summer that was always online, it was fine. However, several other classes that were intended to be in person were not fine, especially labs.

It's also very different for a younger student, especially a first-semester freshman, than for a grad student.

It's not just the academics that are important; there is also the social aspect, the business of learning how to live independently. Lots of things that are as important, or more important, than academics in the long run.
