*How to "Show-off" the World Showcase...

I am taking two Disney newbies to Epcot to Drink Around the World Showcase in a few days. They are being good sports in going, because they think it is crazy to go to Disney as an adult. So, I want to WOW them. They only have five hours before their shuttle to the plane, so...

We are visiting the World Showcase. We plan to get a drink in each country, and snack. However, you simply can't drink a full beverage in the small space between countries. Thus, I want to be sure to include some "attractions".

If you were trying to impress non-Disney folk in the World Showcase, what activities/displays/rides would you absolutely not miss while Drinking Around the World Showcase????

I've gone on the ride in Mexico many times and I still love it!

Okay, Okay, the Margarita's draw me there. Shhh.

Grab a fast pass for the ride in Norway (the wait is often ridiculously long otherwise) before you begin, then check out the live entertainment as well as the film in France. On your way out do the boat ride in Mexico.

Don't forget yummy candy from the UK and tasty treats from France.

If you wish to catch as many shows as possible on your tour of worldshow case. Visit http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/index.htm to get the epcot showtimes and plan your tour to arrive at the desired country when the show starts.

If you want something adults will enjoy. Pick up a schedule and plan on seeing the World Showcase players in England. I never thought I would enjoy street theatre but it was hilarious and smart.

In addition to what the other posters have listed there are the statues in Italy and the drummers in Japan. Also, take time to wander through the shops and back into the countries.
