We'll be eating a dinner at Ohana in Oct and if we do the DDP, how would it work to order a drink (I keep hearing about the Lapu Lapu!) Is it on a separate tab, or just part of the same bill that we'd pay cash for?

When they give you the reciept telling you what you used off of you dining plan do they happen to tell you what credits you have left? That would be nice if they did.

Our experience was that each time we could see what credits we had left. One of things that fluctuated was the amount of $$ it would have costed us. Some receipts had the dollar amount and others didn't. I really liked being able to see the $$ amt and comparing the value. Of course, it always work out to your benefit if you're having dinner and a nice place for your TS credit.
My concern is that we won't use all our credits. I pretty much have our TS ADR's taken care of during our trip. I remember NEVER feeling hungry. SOOOOOO much food!!!

It depends on what you are using. When snacks are purchased the receipts state how many snack credits were used and how many remain and likewise for the counter (quick) service and table service credits. Unless they've made changes, but that was how it was done the previous two years we used the DDP. I guess the only way to get a list of what is left is to see the Guest Services at your resort, I know they can print out what you used, with the when and where listed.
Minnie, just an FYI that some restaurants add the 18% onto your separate bar bill, others don't. It always pays to check to make sure that you don't inadvertently double tip.... or forget to tip. Not all waitstaff point it out either, so we learned to check.
